Onboarding In March ( Theme of the month)

Good morning and Marvelous Monday. Brand new month. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we come into the 61st day of the year we have been Drama Free in January based on 1st Kings 3:23-28 and Mark 12:13-17 and Renewed in February based on Psalms 51:10-13, Isaiah 40:28-31 and Ephesians 4:20-24. So as we continue forward there is an area that may need our attention. It has to so with once a person makes the step to receive Christ as their Savior. We as a people of God rejoice when this happens and know that is one of the purposes of the body of Christ is to have more people know and understand the gospel. And if the person who has found Christ is your spouse, child, relative and friend we are even more so excited. But most times in our excitement we tend to forget that they need help beyond the walls of the church to be ready to walk that walk of faith. They need us to help them. So we come into this month with a plan to keep the newer members engage. We are Onboarding in March.
In looking at the word Onboarding I know some of you want to understand what it means. This is a business term that applies to new hires or employees. Three of the key points of onboarding are as
orientating, training and retaining. We lose more new converts to Christ due to failure in these three areas and as people who are required to bring people to Christ we need to get better at this. Onboarding in March will be based on the three scriptures in the next three paragraphs.

In going to the Word of God for this teaching of Onboarding in March the first base scripture will come from Deuteronomy 6:5-9. These verse speaks of how we should begin our orientation of the
Lord to those who have became part of the body of Christ. When I accepted Jesus as my Savior I was young and was not prepared for the things that eventually came in my life. Orientation is part of the process of Onboarding in March.
In continuing in the Word of God for the second base scripture for Onboarding in March will come from John 10:25-30. In these verses it tells of how once that once we accept Christ as our Savior we
will always know his voice because we are his sheep. As we look at the new people who have accepted Christ as their Savior there has to be training to be able to always recognize his voice. Training is part of Onboarding in March.
In coming to the Word of God for the last base scripture for the month of Onboarding in March we go to 1st Corinthians 1:18-24. These verses is a way of showing those who are newly in the body of
Christ that being saved gives you power of those in the world that still have know wisdom about Christ. Having the new people who have accepted Christ know they have power can be of a great help in retaining them/ Retaining is part of the Onboarding in March.
As we come to the conclusion of this teaching of Onboarding in March there are far too many times that we throw those who accepted Christ congratulations and accolades but are not preparing for that first, day, week, month or year in the Body of Christ. Too many times we tell them to read the Word of God so that they can get their own training without explaining what it means. And too many times we lose those who have accepted Christ by not being there or imposing strict religious standards on them that has nothing to do with the Word of God. Let us go about it the right way. Onboarding in March. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching and ask God to provide with ways to advance the Kingdom of God. Pleas join me on Saturday for a teaching that will be based on the second base scripture of the month, John 10:25-30, titled Onboard with Our Father. Have a great week all and continue to look at some of the teachings on Rhema Word 2.0.
