Brand new week, Brand new attitude

Good morning and Happy Thursday. As we are coming to the close of the month of Move in January based on Genesis 12:1-3, Ezekiel 37:10-13 and Matthew 26:52-54 its seems when there is authority around there seems a be a change in the atmosphere. A case in point is that I stay on a block where there seems to be a lot of activity involving illegal things. The people on the block have those who watch out for customers to come and purchase the products that available on the block. There is also many people who look out to make sure their activities are not interrupted by any unforeseen circumstances. One of the circumstances that causes problems is when there is police presence. This in effect closes down all activity. Sometimes the police comes riding down the block. Sometimes they sit in a area where they can see the whole block. Sometimes they even stop to search and question those on the block. See when authority enters the bad things on the block cease. Good morning all and Happy Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Move in January based on Genesis 12:1-3, Ezekiel 37:10 and Matthew 26:52-54 I want to go back to a time when I did security for a large package company. It was located by a neighborhood that was going through major changes. The area was going from one that the homeless, drug addicts and prostitutes had made home for many years to one where a townhouse would cost in the millions. My area to watch was on the corner of 11th and Canal. This area was frequented by car traffic as Canal is a side street that can connect you to downtown Chicago as most of the expressways are full of traffic in the morning. Each morning when I started working there I started something that most found strange. I started speaking and waving to them. And the response was great. God puts us into positions that no matter where we are at we have Move Them Dry Bones.

As we all know the theme for the month is Move in January based on Genesis 12:1-3, Ezekiel 37:10-13 and Matthew 26:52-54 I remember when I was younger and I was growing up on the West Side of Chicago. The church ALL of my family attended was 2nd Mt. Vernon M.B. and it was located on 18th and Avers. As a youth I loved to attend that church and even when my parents finally moved away from the West Side we rode as a family to church every Sunday.The services were off the chain as it did not matter if it was Pastor Anderson or visiting Pastors like Reverend O.C. Brand or Reverend Marshall. When Pastor Anderson died and my godfather took over the ministry, Reverend Patton the congregation was becoming bigger than the church could hold as I said my entire family went there and then came the Dunlaps and the McCrays. At this time I live with Tonia P. and we had lived with each other for many years. We had our ups and downs but we knew when push came to shove we had each other backs. But this particular year I was feeling somewhat different because when I went from being an average guy to a hot commodity at this government agency. See I was the type who would say and do anything. I was the wild and parting type and would come to work high, go to lunch and get high and hung with those who did the same things I did. In looking how they do business they just do not concentrate on what has made them number one with several of their products which most of us people of faith do. What they do to stay on top is to study how their competitors are doing things so that they are aware of any threat to their position. So while the competition is making a move they are two steps ahead and have a product or marketing plan to offset any losses by them or any gains by the competition. Good morning and Happy Friday. I want to begin this blog by telling you all a true story that happened as I was a teen. I was playing basketball at Gately Park late at night with my friends Darrell Chaney and Michael Jones ( may they RIP ) and I went up to attempt a shot that one of them blocked. As I came down I was in severe pain like I had never felt before and it was in my shoulder area. I, by me watching so many medical television shows was able to provide diagnosis right on the spot that I had a separated shoulder. I also had the proper solution to get me out the pain that was bringing tears to my eyes and that to have either Darrell or Mike or both of them to pull on my arm to and place it back into place. But that would not ease the pain. Although I knew what was wrong I had to move to the proper place to be healed, which was the hospital. So if we want to have a Year of Healing we have to begin by Moving in January to Move Into Your Healing.  When I went to the hospital

Good morning and Happy Wednesday all. Brand new year. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As I transition into the year 2014 I look back though briefly on the past year. The theme God gave me last year was the Year of the Wind based on Exodus 14:21 and Acts 2:2-4 and God did place some winds in my life that benefited me tremendously and made me stronger. But with every thing God does the enemy attempts to take away. So while God was giving fresh wind in my life their were troubling winds coming from elsewhere. A relationship that covered many years was shattered. Lost many more friends and family members that caused sadness in my life. Being a doorman this time of year would have been beneficial to me as far as finances but I know longer work at that building. I come into this year knowing God sees that I am trying, although I still fall short at times. I need something that will fix all the wrong that is in my life. I need a Year of Healing. As I had
