Brand new week, Brand new attitude

Good morning and Happy Sunday. Brand New Week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we exit the month of Drama Free in January based on 1st Kings 3:23-28 and Mark 12:13-17 we want to keep the momentum going. In doing that for myself, in the state of Illinois I am a licensed insurance agent. Although I have passed the course and do not actively sell insurance there is a couple of stipulations that I have to do to keep my license current. I have never worked for an Insurance agency and one way to keep my license current is to take classes mandated by the state of Illinois to keep my up to date on current laws and how to be ethical in selling insurance. These courses cost money if your are not connected with any insurance agency. Once I have paid for the courses and then finished them, I then can apply to renew them. Although I currently do not have my insurance licensed renewed I ask for God to Renew some things in my life. This month is themed, Renew I

As we come into the last week of the month of Drama Free in January based on 1st Kings 3:23-28 and Mark 12:13-17 there are so many times that negative comments come into our lives as a people of faith. People are going to have their opinions no matter who or what you are doing. As a person who loves God, they are going to see how you respond to their questions so that they can use them against you.You can never win because their objective is to see you lose, see you fail and even see you falter  I always here how can you write a blog about God and have secular music in the teachings? Or what do I think that I will accomplish by going to college at the age of 50+. There will be no position for you. My favorite is how can you say that love God and am barely at church? Good afternoon and Happy Saturday. As we continue in the month of Drama Free in January based on 1st Kings 3:23-28 and Mark 12:13-17 I want to keep real on this the 24th day of the year. As I have been writing things on Facebook and in these teachings of being Drama Free there has been nothing but drama all up in my life. From the first week of the year 2015 and even up to this week CS and I have been in constant conflict because of the words that are coming out of my mouth ( she says I have a smart slick mouth) and my actions that have followed behind them. I have hung up the phone on her when I asked her something and her answer was not the one I thought it should be. I have blocked her number so that she could not call me. I have made myself mean and ornery and the drama that is coming behind this is beginning to be unbearable for her as well as me. And that is not whom I truly am. Lord Give Me Wisdom. As we continue in the month of Drama Free in January based on 1st Kings 3:23-28 and Mark 12:13-17 at this point in my life there were some big things I wanted to accomplish. I started off my adult life on the wrong foot as I turned completely from God and began to do my own thing which did not work. Then one day I began to see that God was the right choice for me. I was able to come from some things that I knew it was not all because of me but the love and the guidance that he set forth in my life. I became college student on the Dean's list. I became a published author with my book I Slept With the Choir. I was able to attend a free class to gain certification to become a Sunday School teacher and to be able to teach his Word faithfully. These things were great accomplishments and after a while I wanted to do more but the more was not happening. I wondered Who Was Holding Me Back? One of the teams was putting a beat down on the other team and the commentator was wondering when was the losing team going to be able mount a challenge. One of the things that he said was, "that if they didn't do it soon that time was going to run out". It kind of reminded me of my life. Although I am able to teach the Word of God through this blog and am part of a recruiting effort to have people where I work at become mentors to inner city youth there seems like there could more done at this point. Crime and drugs are all around me and each day I see women who are in need of money selling themselves for as low as $10.00. I as a man of God have to do more and time is not promised to me. As we continue in the Year of Our Father based on Isaiah 64:7-9, Luke 11:2-4 and 1st John 3:1-3 and the month of Drama Free in January based on 1st Kings 3:23-28 and Mark 12:13-17 I must admit that at times I have not been the best person that I could be. When things that I have perceived that was done to me that I thought was wrong, I would get so mad that I would pray to God to harm those who I perceived had done me wrong. I would actually get on my knees and pray the best prayer that I could so Our Father could pay them back for doing me wrong. I would be so happy that I knew that God wold avenge my name, my reputation or give me retributions for that perceived wrong. I would wait a day, a week and sometimes even a month to see what Our Father would do to those who I perceived who did me wrong and nothing ever happened. As we begin this month most of us are filled with the excitement of new things, new looks, and new goals. For some the past year was filled with heartache and sorrow. For others it was filled with love and happiness. And then even for others there joy and pain. We are now past the year of 2014 and have entered a new month. In looking at the this month I want to start off differently than I have done other months. Most times each month there is a problem or an issue that sets me off. It could be something that some one said or some thing that some one has did. But I am always angry with some one during some part of the month. I want to have one of the best months ever. I want to be happy the entire month. I want this month of January to be Drama Free. As we begin this teaching let me define the words drama and free. As we have come out of year of being healed and healing others we must continue to go forward. There are times when we do go forward that we forget some things that allowed us to get to this point. In my life I did not have it rough but I made it rougher for some of the choices I made. I knew the difference between right and wrong but most of my choices were wrong and I ended up having to lose out on some things that could have been done. These choices not only affected me but others also others whom I hurt with my words or actions. But there has been a change in my life as now I make better choices and I attempt to not hurt others with my words or actions. It is because I made God the head of my life and he can perform things that no one else can because he is Father of all. To make sure I and others know this the theme for this year is the Year of Our Father. See in
