Good morning and Happy Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we get ready to exit the month of All in October based on Isaiah 37:14-20 and 2nd Kings 19:14-19 I want to relate a blog of all in on a particular subject. A person who I know very well is works at a hotel in the downtown area. In this hotel there are lot of events happening that this person sees each weekend they work at this hotel. This person has had the opportunity to see bridal dresses being sold for small donations, a event for a local university and a costume party all being held at this hotel. This person this weekend was able to witness a small portion and hear a vast amount of something he had heard of all his life but never had been around or seen one. This person saw and heard what a bar miztpah is all about and it seemed to be a great party. The bar mitzpah was held in a restaurant in the hotel. As the previous events I mentioned as well as the bar mitzpah

Good morning and Happy Friday. I feel so good that as I type this blog I am well on my way to catching up with my blogging. As we continue in the month of All In October based on 2nd Kings 19:14-19 and Isaiah 37:14-20 I look at something I used to enjoy in the past and bring it into present times. As a child of the television culture I used to love shows that dealt with comedy. I and my family loved to laugh. So if it was the Carol Burnett Show, my Mother's favorite, the Three Stooges, my favorite or any shows that my sisters watched or my Dad it was mostly dealing in comedy. One comic actress who I used to really like was Lucille Ball. She to me was a legend in the comic field to the type of comedy she did. Lucille Ball had many shows but my favorite was the show that starred not only her but Fred and Ethel Mertz and her real life husband, Ricky Ricardo. The show was chock full ( Yes I said chock full ) of funny scenes performed by Lucy. As I walk the streets of my neighborhood

Good morning and Happy Wednesday. I once again go into the way back machine to start this blog. My sisters and I grew up in the Roseland neighborhood on the block of 101st and St. Lawrence. We were not children that stayed in the house nor where other children on the block. When ever I would go outside I would normally play with either Gregory Allen or Kevin Miles. Most of our activities consisted in the area of our block and permission was needed to leave off of the block. We did not go out much on school nights and on school nights activities that did not include school work such as watching television was not tolerated until your homework was done. The days we could go outside we took advantage of each and every minute as we played and played until the sun finally had enough and took its leave for the day. Unfortunately the sun going down meant it was getting dark. In order the help the residents see in the dark we had street lights. Every parent on that block always screamed out

Good morning and Happy Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we begin another week of All in October based on 2nd Kings 19:14-19 and Isaiah 37:14-20 I think of so many things that have happened in the last week personally. I had a rough week as I have tried to juggle school along with my writing and radio show. I not only was not able to do a radio show but the blogs that I used to have waiting in the wings in case I had gotten behind were exhausted and I did not even publish one on Friday. With that being said I know that some of you would think as the younger generation would say, " I was doing too much ". I beg to differ. In God there is also nothing impossible ( Matthew 19:26 ) then it is possible for me to advance the kingdom in any way I can. It takes the resolve of a special character to continue on in spite of the circumstances. On this day as a child of God I plan on doing the work of the Father, The Son and T

As we exit the month of Gratitude in September based on 1st Samuel 7:9-12 we enter a whole new month. On this the 275th day of the year this is the month that all the major sports kind of meet up together. In baseball the league gears up for the playoffs and the World Series. In basketball training camp will be starting to prepare the teams for the next and as usual one team will be the NBA champions. In hockey even though as of this writing there is a lookout often times they would be in training camps and getting ready to start the season to crown the Stanley Cup Champions. Even most of the summer sports such as tennis and golf are preparing to select who is the best at their sports. As Christians we have been preparing the ent
