Good morning and Fabulous Friday. As I continue with teaching on a limited basis I wanted to take you one Sunday night that happened sometime in the early 2000's. It was filled with taking a couple of snorts of cocaine to begin the day to augment the joint I would smoke that morning that was followed by the cigarette that I had to have following those things. The liquor store opened at 8 am in Dolton Illinois and I had to get my newspaper as well to read. I would cook breakfast and dinner for me and my girlfriend at the time Tonia P,, and be done about 12:45 pm. I would be drunk and high and passed out by 2 pm and wake up at 5 pm with a cup of alcohol still in my hand and begin this process again until about 8 pm so I could function at work the next day. . But this night was different as I felt that what I was doing was not living life and there had to be other things to do. I had to make some changes. I had to Reset. As

Good morning and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. From the time that I woke up until the time I went to my second job I was presented with many things. Good evening and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week, Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As I am writing this teaching my eyes are welling up with tears. One of the greatest men in my life has departed and we have, my family and I, have said our goodbyes to him. My Uncle Joseph Wesley left this earth on 10-11-16. The home going services were wonderful and everyone spoke well, sung well and afterwards even ate well. While I did not have a chance to speak, one of the things that I knew that I was going to do was to honor him with this memorial teaching which is going to be about him. It is aptly named for what he was about and who he embodied, The Character of a Champion.
