Brand new week, Brand new attitude

Good morning and Happy Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we end the month of March In based on Joshua 3:7-10 and Mark 11:7-10 I remember when I stayed in Riverdale and lived with Tonia P. In the same building that we stayed in ( as a matter of fact right across the hall ) lived Tonia's sister. Now Tonia and I had cable services that we had gotten from a reputable cable provider and had all of our televisions hooked up legally.  Tonia's sister Vanessa and her husband had  their cable hooked up with a illegal connection. One day a man posing as a cable representative rung Vanessa's doorbell and told her and her husband he would turn  off the connection unless they gave him $90.00 cash right away. They paid the man and he tried to tell me and Tonia P. the same thing. I told him to push on and get out of my face because I know we had a legal connection. Good morning and Thankful Thursday. As we continue in the month of March In based on Joshua 3:7-10 and Mark 11:7-10 as I was growing up I was told a lot of things that I could not believe but without no proof otherwise I had to take a person on their word. I knew that there was a Santa Claus because the proof was the presents left under the Christmas tree each year. I knew for sure there was a Easter Bunny because of the eggs left in the yard each year. I believed in the tooth fairy as money was left under my pillow each time a tooth was lost. As a child when you are told things and see the benefits of the things you believe in you walk in the proof that these things are true. As I came into my teens these things that I thought were true turned out to be true at all. So for me to trust things and have unlimited faith in things I have to one proof for sure. I have to be able to March In Proof. As I do often I will define the word proof and will be going to my source of definitions

Growing up I did not grow up in the strictest household but there were rules and regulations in place that had me and my siblings in compliance with what the household stood for. But as a child I was one who was curious and always wanted to see what is this all about. At one time both of my parents smoked and back then having a lighter was not a necessity because matches were always available. I liked the sound of a match being lit so I would play with matches even though this was against the wishes of my parents. I would graduate to lighting one match and then to eventually the entire book of matches. It is like once we think we should so do something differently or react in another way there is some that wants to keep things the same. In 1773 the locals who had been taxed for years go tired and started the Boston Tea Party and which was followed by the Revolutionary War. In the 1960's there were marches for freedom and equality that cultivated the March on Washington in 1963 ( when I was almost one years old ) and shortly after the death of Martin Luther King Jr. And in 2011 we had what was called the Occupy Now protest that showed the inequality of the wealth distribution in this company. As we continue in the month of March In based on Joshua 3:-7-10 and Mark 11:7-10 earlier this month I was sent on a security detail to watch a conference area in a hotel in downtown Chicago. I thought I was going to be able to sit there in peace and do my homework. Well when I got there to relieve the person who had been there before me I was shocked to find that there were men working on some doors on the conference area that I had to watch. The men were taking the door off the hinges to make sure the doors were exactly level and did not squeak as they opened and closed. I thought this was a bit much but the hotel wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong for the group that was coming for the conference. The hotel was Marching In Preparation. As we continue you in the Year of Healing based on  Jeremiah 33:6-9 Matthew 9:6-8 and Acts 28:7-9 and the month of March In based on Joshua 3:7-10 and Mark 11:7-10 I remember some years ago when I was drinking almost daily and smoking weed and cigarettes every day. I could always afford to do so because I had at least two jobs or a significant other to help me do so. Although I snorted cocaine at times and smoked joints laced with PCP ( called happy sticks ) my drug of choice was marijuana. I smoked so much that I had to buy the highest quality weed or I would not get high because I was burnt out ( smoked so much low quality weed would not get me high ). For over 30 something years I did this cycle over and over again. There had to be an end because my relationship with family was affected to the point of almost no return. As we continue on this the 62nd day of the year we get ready to begin a new month. We have Moved In January based on Genesis 12:1-3, Ezekiel 37: 10-13 and Matthew 26:52-54 and there were the Notifications in February based on Exodus 7:1-3, 1st Kings 22:19-23 and Luke 10:2-6. One of my fondest memories of growing up and attending 2nd Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church was that I sung in the choir. The teen choir that I sung in had to practice that prior weekend before we sung the next day. We had to go over songs, harmonies and direction from those in charge. So on the Sunday's that we performed as a choir we had to do one more thing before we sung to the glory of God. We had to March In.
