Don't Think It's Over

Image
Good afternoon and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we come to the end of the month of Don't In April based on Judges 16:1519, Jeremiah 26:12-15 and John 12:9-11. I want to say congratulations to all who have become greater in certain areas. To the ones who started that play or became a artist. To those who began that business. To the ones who become involved in the affairs of government. To the ones who stepped out of the traditions of religion that holds us back. To the people who began that education initiative. To the ones who began that social media site or Internet talk show. And to the people who have become more active in family matters inside your home and in the community. We all have had a rebirth and can sit back and enjoy the blessings and favor God has given us. Wait a minute? Because things are going well the enemy is going to get busier. Don't Think It's Over. In going to define the

You Don't Scare Me

Good morning and Thankful Thursday. As we continue on the 114th day of the year in the month of Don't In April based on Judges 16:15-19, Jeremiah 26:12-15 and John 12:9-11 I currently live in a neighborhood that is considered one of roughest in Chicago. As of this time on either side of me there are vacant houses. At these vacant houses there is a lot of activity going on. In the morning when I leave at one house there is a group that sits on the porch of the vacant house on the left as if the house was where they lived. And the times I am not working my second job, when I come home there is activity that includes a large group of young men and women that involves both of these houses. There is so much activity that at times there are people standing and sitting on porch. They are drinking and smoking and are loud and look to be intimidating as a person would walk down the street. But in order for me to get home I must go past this group. You Don't Scare Me. See even befor

Don't Be Cruel

Good morning and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Don't in April based on Judges 16;15-19, Jeremiah 26:12-15 and John 12:9-11 most of us have had a great time on yesterday. Reenactments, plays and fellowship celebrating Resurrection Sunday. We are in a good place as victories have been achieved on yesterday and we even had some great food. We have even started this day on a high note. Like that homeless man who kneels on the ground everyday on Jackson between Financial and LaSalle. We continue to walk past him. Or that you lady who we see walking up and down Michigan avenue between 105th and 110th streets. Or the drug dealers who constantly party in front of your house that you cannot sleep or more or less even have company. See now the things you celebrated yesterday you had gotten rid of are back already. That is what the devil wants and God does not. Don't Be Cruel. In loo

Rebirth

Image
Good morning and Thankful Thursday. Each month I come out of the subject for the month and teach on something that God has given me. As I begin this I want to say that at a very young age I confessed that Jesus had died for my sins and was eventually baptized. My times as a youth being reborn was wonderful. I had a great relationship with my family and a whole lot of friends. I was into the Word of God but never truly understood the whole Bible. I was a whiz in school and got high grades without even applying myself. I would be rewarded by my parents or grandparents and there was no youth in my peer group who was smarter than I was. I could become anything I wanted to and had big aspirations. In fourth grade my poetry won me a couple of awards and I could even sing back then. I was basking in the light of all that God gave me until I started being persuaded by the enemy to do things that were not of God. I was beginning a plunge into a dark place and did not know that one day I would

Terms and Conditions ( Don't Be Fooled ).

Good morning and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Don't In April based on Judges 16:15-19, Jeremiah 26:12-15 and John 12:9-11 the picture I am using of myself this week is one of me dressed as if I had been or am taking culinary courses. Those who know me personally know that is not true and were initially fooled by this picture and thought I was trying to fool the readers of my blogs to think I was a chef. The reason I and others I was with at the time had not only this top on but black pants as well and are clean shaven is that we were preparing to do a photo shoot for something that dealt in the culinary arts. So in order to even be in the photo shoot you had to agree to wear what they provided and have a set amount of time to stay in order to get paid. It was part of the Terms and Conditions. We as people of faith no matter what denomination we are have to abide by certain Terms

Don't Doubt a Healing

Image
Good morning and Thankful Thursday. As we continue in the Year of Healing based Jeremiah 33:6-9, Matthew 9:6-8 and Acts 28:7-9 and the month of Don't in April based on Judges 16:15-19, Jeremiah 26:12-15 and John 12:9-11 each month I combine theme of the year and the month to produce a blog. So on this the 100th day of the year I talk about how many times that God has delivered me from drugs, alcohol and cigarette addiction but there was one thing that I did not stop doing. See in the healing of the things I mentioned there was doubt that I could be able to survive without this because though at times it took away from my income, other times it added significantly to it. I could take a little and turn it into a lot. I knew God had brought me through a lot but one thing that I still like to do was play the horses. I would gamble not as much as I used to but just enough to still sort of addicted to them. Even though God could provide anything I needed there was Doubt in My Healing.

Don't Tell Everyone

Good evening  all. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Don't In April based on Judges 16:15-19, Jeremiah 26:12-15 and John 12:9-12 I want to share a story with every one. In the late 1990's I was dating a person named Tonia P. while dating this person we have some rough and tumble times. Although I knew that she had my back and I had her back it seemed there were some things that we were not telling each other. I never told I had other women and the times I snorted cocaine. I thought the things I was not telling her could not begin to be worse than the things that she was not telling me. We had tried living together but at this time we had moved away from one another. Tonia P. did not work but sickly enough to have fill out an application for disability benefits. I was the one who helped her fill out the paperwork. Based on the first base scriptures Judges 16:15-19 I begin this blog of Don't Tel

Don't In April

Image
Good morning and Thankful Thursday. Brand new month. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. We have Moved In January based on Genesis 12:1-3, Ezekiel 37: 10-13 and Matthew 26:52-54 and there were the Notifications in February based on Exodus 7:1-3, 1st Kings 22:19-23 and Luke 10:2-6 and Marched In based on Joshua 3:7-10 and Mark 11:7-10. Progress has been made all across the board. For some moving to a new place in God has been great. To others giving notifications of what and where God has brought you has been the best thing ever. And for others who have marched into healing, breakthrough and blessings the year has started out great. But this is the  2nd quarter of the year and any gains we may have seen can be easily taken away by the least negative thing. This is why we must be on guard for any and everything and we must not give in to the foolery. This month is themed Don't In April. In looking up the definition of the word don't I go to my
