Brand new week, Brand new attitude

Good afternoon all and Thankful Thursday. Brand new month. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we begin the second half of this year 2014 and begin the fiscal year 2014/2015 I want to go back over themes we have had.We have Moved In January, Notifications in February  We then Marched  and then there was Don't In April  and celebrated Mothers In May. There was Fiscal Year End in June and Going Global in July. You would think that we as a people of faith would have gone and made a bigger difference in the world. But it is hard to do when our children as well as adults are seeing programs that promote arguing and cursing one another out. When popping bottles, money and sex is the main part of the music scene, When you see game shows that used to be free of sexual content now are part this nonsense. In math there are many symbols, equations and formulas. In math there are signs to add things together, signs to subtract things and signs to for division and multiplication. There are so many things that you can do in math that it would be impossible for me to actually name them all. There are times in our lives when it seems like math symbols are part of our lives. There are  those in our families that are divided by little simple things. There are those people that seem to subtract rather add to our lives. And then it seems like problems in our lives continue to multiply to the point where we cannot cope. There is a abundant need for the people of faith to venture into the global market. There are so many things all over the world that is lacking. Globally there is a need for spoken word and plays that are faith based. Globally they are seeking God but not religion. Globally there are looking for ways to strengthen families. Globally people want to be educated in all ways. Globally there are seeking guidance and assistance in government. Most of all people all over the world are looking for businesses to come in and provide the wants and needs they have not been having. We as believers of God can come into these markets and bring not only the financial gain to ourselves but most importantly bring the message of God Has The Whole World in His Hands. In the movie you have three men who are looking for the same thing, a treasure. The men are all looking for the same thing, a treasure that is buried in the grave of a confederate soldier. As we continue in the month of Going Global in July based and Psalms 50:10-12, Mark 16:15-18 and 1st John 4:4-6 once a month I have a teaching that does not deal with the theme of the month. So this month I go back to my childhood and some of the games that we used to play back then. There was a game called It that you chased others in a attempt tag them before they were able to get to a designated point so they could become It and then have to do the chasing. Then there was Hide and Seek which consisted of you and others hiding and one or more people seeking where that person hid. There was one more game that we played as well when I was younger and that is Let's Play House. In this game there were only two people, a boy and girl, and they would pretend to be a married couple. I am attending college via an online course. This semester I am taking a course that deals with the humanities. For this course you have to do a lot of reading on many many different things. I took the course before when I was younger but did not have the discipline then nor the patience to actually finish the course with a passing grade. In taking this course you have to remove yourself from certain feelings. The course does not allow for religious ideas because of the many different directions and thought processes dealing with the course. Being a man who loves God I find myself in a Catch 22 situation. Good afternoon and Thankful Thursday As we continue in the month of Going Global in July based on Psalms 50:10-12, Mark 16:15-18 and 1st John 4:4-6 growing up in a home that held God in reverence meant that I had to do things according to the rules of the house. As a boy I did not mind this because as sure as the sun shined so was my eagerness to go to church and learn more about God. To me the experience of worshiping with my extended family and members of the church whom were like family was like no other I would ever have in my life. I loved Sunday School and the excitement of the services of church on Sunday would be relayed to others as I played in the playground or in class room. Oh how I loved Jesus because he first loved me was my song. The one day out of the blue I was faced with choices that took me into the world and out of the body of Christ. I was a victim of Identity Theft. See  as I got older I saw the ways of the world as being very attractive to me more so than th

In my city there was at least 8 people killed and many others wounded. I am really concerned about this as it has become the norm and almost accepted that some one will get shot each week. There are things in America that is going on such as a divided government and a bigger gulf between the rich and the poor. There are so many times when we say America needs healing and I would agree with this statement. We then Marched In based on Joshua 3:7-10 and Mark 11:7-10 and then there was Don't In April based on Judges 16:15-19, Jeremiah 26:12-15 and John 12:9-12 and celebrated Mothers In May based on Genesis 21:14-21, II Kings 4:18-23 and Luke 1:28-33. And last month there was Fiscal Year End based on Zechariah 1:14-17 and Revelation 1:13-18. Now we come out of the gate with momentum. We see where there are changes needed.
