Hear, Forgive and Listen and Act ( For Our Prayers)

Image
Good afternoon and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. he future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Hear Our Prayers in April based on 2nd Chronicles 6:38-40, Psalms 130:1-6 and Daniel 9:16-19 recently I have been traveling all around the city of Chicago posting of the places where I have been. Some of the places I have posted about have been is destitute areas where there are little to no civic pride. Some of the places I have posted about have been in areas where there is very little crime and there is abundance of money and resources that these people are accustomed to and they walk around with pride that they are a citizen of the United States. One of the places that I took a picture of was of a prison that although I could not see the prisoners I know that they would want to be in a better situation. Each of these areas need God to Hear, Forgive and Listen and Act ( For Our Prayers). There are times that not only we as the Bod

Praying About Many Things

Good afternoon and Happy Friday. As we continue in the month of Hear Our Prayers in April based on 2nd Chronicles 6:38-40, Psalms 130:1-6 and Daniel 9:16-19 I often times find myself praying about many things. This week alone I have needed to pray in at least three different things. I am in a relationship but there are times when I find myself wondering if it would be okay for me to date others as well as the one I am with. I am working tow jobs and going to school but it still seems like I could have more and be making a lot more. I am getting up in age a bit and I wonder how much longer I may have here earth. These were some of the things I was just praying about this week alone. As a Body of Christ we go to God for any number of things and as the prayers we pray to him differ in what the individual may need from him or what the organization may be seeking. Most times we are all Praying About Many Things. We as the people of God must remember that pray does change some things. So

Hear My Humble Cry

Good afternoon and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past the is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Hear Our Prayers in April based on 2nd Chronicles 6:38-40,  Psalms 130:4-6 and Daniel 9:16-19 there was a time that each and every one of us were infants. When we  that small there was nothing that we could do for ourselves. We could not walk to the store to go get our own formula. We could not go online and order our own Gerber meals. We  could not go to  and buy our own 64 pack of diapers or to the corner store to buy that 2 pack of diapers when money was low. We all, no matter what race, creed or nationality had no way to take care of ourselves. And all of us probably have no memory of being between a day old and at least a year old. But one thing we do know that in order to get what we needed we had to cry. As men of and women of the Body of Christ we ask that God Hear My Humble Cry. As I begin this teaching of Hear My Humbl

Come Together ( To Get Attention to Our Prayers).

Good afternoon and Happy Saturday. As we continue in the month of Hear Our Prayers In April based on 2nd Chronicles 6:38-40, Psalms 130:1-6 and Daniel 9:16-19 this week I was at my job and happened to look down the street and saw a large crowd of people that had gathered to march in the middle of the street in downtown Chicago and it was happening during rush hour, when the largest amounts of commuters are going home. I was not close enough to hear what was going on so I had to ask someone who knew what was going on. I had asked a police officer who was directing traffic and he told me that workers from the fast food restaurants where protesting their low pay and wanted a raise, a big one from minimum wage to $15.00 an hour. It may not have gotten results right then and there but I am quite sure it made their employers take notice. We as the member of the Body of Christ if we Came Together, I know God will Hear Our Prayers. ( To Get Attention To Our Prayers). See in the world toda

Whatever Your Prayer Is

Good morning and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Hear Our Prayers in April based 2nd Chronicles 6:38-40, Psalms 1-6 and Daniel 9:16-19 as I may pray for one thing others may pray for another. My parents, James and JoAnn may pray for some things that I may not pray for. My Grandmother, Mrs. Lilla Mae Birdsong, may pray for something entirely different from me. My sisters, Gloria and Angie and my brother Nevo may pray for things that may not be on my prayer list. My church, my job, I have never met before, all across America and foreign countries have different degrees and reasons for prayer. And although we all may pray for different wants and different needs we know that we have God who will answer them if we go to him humbly and with outstretched arms. God will answer Whatever Your Prayer Is. As we begin this teaching of Whatever Your Prayer is I want to define the word whatever.

Make Mention of Others in Prayer

Good afternoon and Happy Friday. As we continue in the month of Hear Our Prayers in April based on 2nd Chronicles 6:38-40, Psalms 130:1-6 and Daniel 9:16-19 I was thinking about someone dear in my life today. My Uncle Johnny was a great man. He had a wonderful singing voice. He was man who loved God and knew the Word of God very well. And he was always looked sharp in his clothes. But as I remember him today I think of how he was a praying man. He would pray at devotion at church. He would pray on the way to work. He would pray during the services that we had at Ford Motor at lunch time. When he prayed he always mentioned to "Remember the Jewish people everywhere". I never thought it was strange until I had gotten older. I mean he was praying for a whole race of people that to my knowledge he had nothing to do with. We as the Body of Christ need to be mindful of that and Make Mention of Others In Our Prayers. As we come into this teaching of Make Mention for Others in Ou

Our Father Hears Our Prayers.

Good afternoon and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitudes. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Hear Our Prayers in April based on 2nd Chronicles 6:38-40, Psalms 130:1-6 and Daniel 9:16-19 when I became an adult I had little use for the instructions of my parents. I did not want to hear about saving money or being a responsible parent I just wanted to do me and in a since I did. I continued to smoke weed everyday and some days snort a little cocaine. I continued to drink the best alcohol and beer when I could afford it and when I could not I drank what I could get my hands on. I manuavered and lied to sleep with as many women as I could even if I was in a relationship or married. I did not want to do anything that made sense or if it was the right thing to do. I am so glad that I was able to have God come to my rescue when I needed him. Our Father Hears Our Prayers. See I know that I am not the only one who not only drew away

Hear Our Prayers In April ( The Theme of the Month ).

Good morning and Happy Saturday. Brand new month. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we move into the second quarter of the year 2015 and the 94th day we have already made our lives Drama Free in January based on 1st Kings 3:23-28 and Mark 12:13-17 and then Renewed in February based on Psalms 51:10-13, Isaiah 40:28-31 and Ephesians 4:20-24. Last month was Onboarding in March based on Deuteronomy 6:5-9, John 10:25-30 and 1st  Corinthians 1:18-24 which gave us strategies on how to orientate, train, recruit and retain new and old members of the Body of Christ. Going into this month there are still some things that are not right. I see where in Kenya there were 147 children killed by terrorists. There still is a wide divide between the people that have and those that have not. Divisions still remain in the Body of Christ. Lord we come to you on bent knees and with our eyes closed asking you to Hear Our Prayers in April. As we begin this teaching of H
