Renewed In Knowledge

Good morning and Marvelous Monday. As we continue in the month of Renew In February based on Psalms 51:10-13, Isaiah 40:28-31 and Ephesians 4:20-24 I work as a security officers most times and as a doorman others. In each field the work seems to be similar but they are not. Each takes a character of its own when doing them. In watching a building as a security officer I am making sure that any dangers, present and unforeseen, are taken care in the quickest time possible. I am also concerned with any and all packages that are coming and leaving the building. As a doorman I have to be sure that I recognize and address each resident properly and am responsible of each package coming into the building. The knowledge base is different and when I am doing the work of a doorman I must renew my knowledge. There are times we as a people of God including myself must be Renewed in Knowledge.
As I begin this teaching I want to define the key word in this teaching and that is knowledge. I go to my source, dictionary.com and find that knowledge means as follows; acquaintance with facts, the
state of knowing; and awareness. We as men and women of God have knowledge of what we should be doing but sometimes we have to be Renewed in Knowledge. This teaching will be coming from Colossians 3:8-10.
In beginning this teaching of Renewed in Knowledge I go to the Word of God and Colossians 3:8. In this verse Paul writes about being connected with Christ there are some things we should not be
doing. As a people of God we have an acquaintance with these facts but there are times when we do them any way. I myself as much as I try to a couple of them. That is why I want to be Renewed in Knowledge.
As we continue in this teaching of Renewed in Knowledge I go back in the Word of God and to Colossians 3:9. In this verse Paul writes about how we should not be lying to one another since that
we have left that old way of life. Once we have been saved by accepting Christ we have the state of knowing that lying is not of Christ. We need to Renewed In Knowledge.
As we come to end of the Biblical portion of this teaching of Renewed in Knowledge I go to Colossians 3:10. In this verse Paul writes of a new man Renewed in Knowledge that is in the image
of God, our creator. When we become like Christ there is a awareness to do things of Christ, like Christ and for Christ. We should be Renewed In Knowledge.

In conclusion there is a acquaintance of facts that if we are slandering or using foul language, this is not of Christ but of things that were the old us. There is a state of knowing that lying is not part of the Kingdom of God. And there is an awareness that we are the image of God here on earth and should act accordingly. We sometimes seem to forget but today I seek for myself and others that we be Renewed in Knowledge. I give God all the glory and honor and ask him to bless each and everyone who may read this and even those who may not. Please join me Saturday for the last teaching of the month of February, Renewed in Mind Part II. Also if you have a chance please look for a teaching of Rhema Word 2.0 this week. Have a great week all.
