It Takes One To Know One

Good morning and Happy Monday all. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. Reign in November based on Luke 19:13-14. As we get ready to close this month out I wanted to focus on something on this the 330th day of the year themed This is Our/Your year. As a child I used to say some  mean things. Now most of the time this occurred while I was away from home either at school or at church but always never in the vicinity of my parents who did not play that. But in the playground I would call various children different names that would not even faze most of them. Because the same children I would say mean things to would say mean things to me or others. By us being children we would recognize the negative part of another child and never compliment or even acknowledge the positive. One of the ways we were mean was telling " yo mama " jokes. Another way was talking about how a person dressed. And lastly there was calling some one a punk or a chump. Most times when we called some one a punk or a chump they would have phrase they would come back and say to you. It Takes One to Know One.

In life there are so many people who you can look at and see yourself in that realm as well. How you feel about yourself is very important always but especially during the holidays as this time of year has been

known to depressing for some. There are those out there who see your dreams as failures even before you begin to try to execute them. There are people who want to and can change areas like education, family, religion, social media, arts and entertainment, business and government but are told they are going to be failures, losers and lames for being different. It takes a person who is a failure, a loser and a lame to recognize one. In the next 3 paragraphs I will look at three examples of no matter what they knew what
 it was they were because they knew somebody that was the same as them. It takes One to Know One.

In my first example of it takes one to know one I go to one of my favorite passages of the Bible. In Genesis 37:5-11 Joseph dreamed not only one but two dreams that made not only his brothers angry but his Father

as well. Not while his brothers hated him his Father took note. How many times have you dreamed of starting a school with faith based initiatives or wanted to start a family with your own children or adopted children and you were either talked out of it by some one who does not know what you are. See Jacob who was Joseph's earthly Father knew what Joseph said was true because it takes one to know one. In Genesis 35:11-13 God changed his name to Israel and made his seeds rulers of the chosen people. Jacob knew Joseph had a relationship with God and knew what was possible. In Genesis 45 we see where  the dream Joseph had came true. Get with people who takes one to know one and your dreams will come true.

As I look at another example in the Word of It Takes One to Know One I go to Zechariah the 2nd Chapter and see where God has made the land where his people reside unlimited and is welcoming his people back

to him as he takes them out of captivity. Many times we look at limiting what we can do in religion and how we see social media as the work of the enemy. These comments come from people who are not lined up with God. You can step out of the box and take religion into areas like the poor and the drug infested hoods.with a message they can understand. You can start as social media network with faith based initiatives and it will be successful. When Zechariah spoke some people thought he was crazy. But in Zechariah 3:7-8 he wrote that if we follow the Lord he will provide a BRANCH. which he already has. It takes a Child of God to Know when a Child of God is speaking to them.


In my last example of It Takes One to Know One I go to the New Testament. I go to Luke 2:25-35. We see where Simeon will not see death until has seen the Lord's Christ. Being filled with the Holy Spirit he

instantly knew when he saw Jesus that Christ had come. Many of you have wanted to change the way arts and entertainment is presented and start faith based shows, plays and poetry. Many of us want to get that business that God promised us once we accepted Christ. Many of us know we are filled with the Holy Spirit and can change how the government governs. But when we listen to those who are completely different from us we tend to not want to do these things. Once you have accepted Jesus there is nothing you cannot do. It Takes One to Know One.

In closing you can look at the reflection in the mirror and see that It Takes One to Know One. You can look at some of your Co-workers and see It Takes One to Know One. You can look in your church and your hood as see It Takes One to Know One. In Romans 8:37 it says we are more than conquerors. So we can Reign in November and change the areas I previously mentioned in this blog. You are leaders in your areas. Prominence and dominance are all over you. Beauty inside and out and nothing will ever stand in your way. I can say this because IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE!!!!.
