Three Can Make it Happen

Good morning and Happy Friday all. This is the month of Boom in December based on Deuteronomy 17:19-20, Habakkuk 2:3 and John 10:9-10. As we move further into the month I again venture away from the theme of month and bring another teaching that is inspired by the Holy Spirit. In 1974 there a film that was called Three the Hard Way. The movie starred Fred "the Hammer" Williamson, Jim Brown and Jim Kelly. The plot of the movie was that a group of white supremacist attempted to kill the Black population by poisoning the water supply. The three actors were the biggest Black action stars of that time as Jim Brown starred as Slaughter in a motion picture, Fred Williamson starred as Black Caesar and Jim Kelly starred as Black Belt Jones. The three men were able to stop the vicious plot of the enemy. We as a people of faith can make major changes in the world and a lot of help is needed but sometimes it only takes 3. Three can make it happen.

In looking at the number three and studying it's Biblical meaning it signifies completion or perfection or unity. In looking for scripture to back up the meaning I start with Genesis 1:13 when on the third day the earth rose
from the water. In Hosea 6:2 it speaks of on the third we will rise up. In Matthew 12:40 the writer tells of Jonah being in a fish for three days. And the ministry of Jesus lasted three years ( Luke 13:7 ) with three being so significant in the word of God I am going to use the next 3 paragraphs to illustrate my point that Three Can Make it Happen.
In looking at the first example of Three Can Make It Happen I look in the Word of God and go to Exodus 17:8-13. In this passage we see where God has instructed Moses to send the men in battle with Joshua
leading the way while Moses, Aaron and Hur go up to the top of the hill. As Moses lift his hand up the battle is being one but as he gets tired he needs a little help. Many of us are fighting a battle we have already won but we get tired of trying to open that business or educational institution. We need a Aaron and Hur to help us when we seem like we may lose. Three Can Make It Happen.
In looking at the second example I go to the Word of God and 2 Samuel 23:8-17. In this passage it shows David had three mighty men who would do whatever they had to do to please the king. The men, Josheb
Basshebeth, Eleazar and Shammah, These three men went into the enemies stronghold just to get David water. Three people can enter what is considered by some the stronghold of the enemy and start a social media site, produce that movie and change the way the laws of the government. Three Can Make It Happen.

In the last of three examples I go the Word of God and to Acts 16:1-5. Paul and Silas have found a third companion and that is young Timothy. The three men when the get together do some positive things.
The three men did what we need to do today. The changed how religion was seen in that day by doing things differently and how the family structure was seen as. You can do something like have a dance at church or accept those who are not your color or religious sect into your family. Three Can Make It Happen.
In closing it takes a village to change things at times but three can make it happen. We have those who are leaders and those who may not can lead but can help hold things together. We those who are just straight warriors and it does not matter how many those who say they cannot make these three will make it happen. And you have those who are adamant about making changes in the face of strict opposition. It may be the hard way at times but Three Can Make It Happen. I give God all the glory and Honor for this teaching and ask him to bless all who read this. Please join me for my next blog called Boom There is Our Land.
