Did I Do That?

Good morning and Happy Friday. As I wake up this I think back to last year when I was sitting at home and not working with so much time on my hand. I would be looking for jobs on my computers but also was addicted to a game called Hearts ( I know I am not the only way who has been addicted to computer games ). Although I was also writing papers for my Teacher's Training Assignment I felt like I could be doing more. I was thinking about how hard it could be to write a book. I had a premise in my mind but actually writing it would be hard. I had to come up with the characters names, I had to come up with a setting and I had to come up with plots that would seem plausible. As I started writing as what happens to most writers I got writers block and then I started getting time constraints. Even though I did not seek God to give me guidance about writing the book in the first place, he still came and blessed me and allowed me the time and knowledge to actually finished. Although I Slept with the Choir is not selling millions my name has author behind it and I am ten chapters into the sequel, I Slept With the Choir Again. I had to sit back and ask myself. Did I do That?
Many times in our lives we wonder how we are going to do things. How are we going to feed our families with no job. How are we going to be obedient to God when are children are disobedient to us. How can we
can we love our neighbor when he is the neighborhood thief and drug dealer. How can we change the perception that the world has of the people of faith. How can I treat my boss with respect when he/she takes her anger out on me. In the next 3 paragraphs I am going to introduce to three people even though you should know them, who may have said, Did I Do That?

In my first example in the Word of God I go to Joshua 2:3-21. We see where the people of God were finally ready to advance into their destiny and they had to go to the enemy and infiltrate their camp. They
went to a harlot or as we would now say a whore to help them achieve their destiny. God places people in our lives for many reasons. Rahab was able to change the areas of religion and family just by trusting in God. We as people can do things to change the way we go about limiting our ideas about religion. We can change the way that families are splitting up and divided. We have to trust God. And when the changes come you can say, Did I Do That?

In looking in the Word of God I go  for my second example in Daniel the 7th chapter. Daniel is who is a interpreter of dreams is bothered by a dream he is having. In his dreams he see what is actually a prophecy
of what was to come. The dream troubled him so much he had to tell someone else about it so his dream could come interpreted. We can achieve our dreams and change the area of business by opening that faith based business that God told us to do. We can do that thing in social media we wanted to do as in doing a blog or Internet radio show. We can open up the play, that poetry, that television idea that is in our head and prosper as well. Then you can look back and say, Did I Do That?

Lastly I go to the Word of God and look in Mark 11:2-10. In this passage we see where Jesus is getting ready to come into town riding a donkey. Most of the royalty at that time had the finest horses or rode in
jesus riding a donkey
carriages. But Jesus came into town and was treated like he should have been, as the King of Kings. We can change the area of education by just trusting in what God has for us to do in this area. Although the laws seem to favor the world we as people of faith can change the laws of our country. Then we sit back and say, Did Do That?
God has given us so many gifts that we cannot just sit back and let them go to waste. Although you may not write a book like I did there are so many things that see that we can do. I look at the mentally and physically challenged compete in the Special Olympics as well as hold jobs in the workplace today and say if they have the will and desire to do it so should we. Follow your dreams and set goals and then look after you achieved them and say, DID I DO THAT! To God be the glory. Please join me for my blog on Monday called Publish Your Occupation. Have a great weekend.
