Publish In January

Good morning and Happy Monday all. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited.  As we continue in the Year Of the Wind based on Exodus 14:21 and Acts 2:2-4. I want to look back at something last year that taught me something. All of my life I wanted to write a book. It did not matter what the topic was I wanted to write a book. The subject could have been poetry, or encouragement or even scandal. I believe that once I sit down to write the thoughts just flow. I actually wrote a book called I Slept With the Choir. When the book was finished I wanted to figure out the next move I wanted to do. It could have just sat on my computer and no one would have ever read it or even knew I wrote a book. I decided to find a publisher so I could get my name out there in case I wanted to do poetry, or encouragement books in the future. I thought of this when I was looking for a theme of the month. If we know how good God has been to us over the many years it is our duty to tell others what he has done for us. If they choose to believe you that is their choice. Once you have told them you have done what is expected of you. I am going to Publish In January.

In getting into the meat of this blog as usual I want to give the meaning of the theme word of the month so I can go forward. So as usual I go to my source for definitions which is Dictionary.com. The word publish

means as follows; to issue publicly the work of; to announce formally or officially, proclaim; to make generally known. So speaking for myself I must be able to issue publicly the work of God. As a person of faith I have to be prepared at all times to formally or officially announce that Jesus is real. I must make generally known that the Holy Spirit lives in us all. I am going to go to the Word of God and find 3 examples of the how people published the gospel to others. I am going to Publish in January.

In the Word of God I am going to use as one of my two base scriptures. I am going Psalm 26:7. In Psalm 27 David seems to be going through some things. It could be that Saul is still after him. It could be that he as

a King he could have be going through some stuff. Many of us are going through transition. We look at last year as a failure as we could not find ways to make ends meet or have enough. But David writes in verse 7 that he will publish the with a voice of thanksgiving what God has done for him. It is time out for being cool and time to publish the things that God has done for you and others. I am going to issue publicly what God has done for me and my family. It is time to Publish in January.

In the second example of the Word of God and the second and last base scripture of Publish in January I go to the Luke 8:39. In this previous verses ( Luke 26-37 ) we see the story of Legion once again. Jesus saw

a need for someone to tell of his good works. Can you imagine how the people looked at this themselves and had to tell everyone. I know that we know someone who has been healed of sickness, mental health issues or even cancer. My own Mother was able to beat cancer. I have told this in numerous blogs and postings on Facebook because I know Jesus can do everything. I am formally announcing and making it official that Jesus is real. I am going to Publish in January.

In my last example of the Word of God I am going to go Acts 10:37-44. We can look at how in verse 37 how Peter spoke about how the gospel begin in Judea, from Galilee which was one of the poorest areas at

time. But in this passage we can see after Peter tells the gospel to others outside his normal circle how the power of the Holy Spirit came down on all of them ( verse 44 ). The Holy Spirit lives in all of us. I am going to make it generally known that the Holy Spirit lives in all of us. I am going to Publish In January always.

In closing as I Publish In January I want to thank God for delivering me out of a house that was being foreclosed on that was virtually vacant to having my own apartment. I want to thank Jesus for those who gave me the money to move to a better place. I want to thank Holy Spirit for living inside me to help me encourage others even when I need encouragement myself. This month I am going to publish blogs that will show the world the goodness of God the Father, the mercy of Jesus the son and the grace of the Holy Spirit. I am going to Publish in January.
