Our Father Is Drama Free

Good morning and Happy Friday. As we continue in the Year of Our Father based on Isaiah 64:7-9, Luke 11:2-4 and 1st John 3:1-3 and the month of Drama Free in January based on 1st Kings 3:23-28 and Mark 12:13-17 I must admit that at times I have not been the best person that I could be. When things that I have perceived that was done to me that I thought was wrong, I would get so mad that I would pray to God to harm those who I perceived had done me wrong. I would actually get on my knees and pray the best prayer that I could so Our Father could pay them back for doing me wrong. I would be so happy that I knew that God wold avenge my name, my reputation or give me retributions for that perceived wrong. I would wait a day, a week and sometimes even a month to see what Our Father would do to those who I perceived who did me wrong and nothing ever happened. Then some one who has a close relationship with God told me something, Our Father is Drama Free.
See most times the drama that is in our lives we have created it. Like when we go the boat and lose all of our money and then want God to put the casino out of business. Or when we are involved with
someone who moves on and we want to start some mess in their new relationship. Or when we see people get elevated in positions in the church that we waited so long for and got passed over and hope they fail. This is not of God or how his people act. Our Father is Drama Free.
As we get into the Word of God for the teaching of Our Father is Drams Free I begin in Leviticus 26:14-26. In these verses Our Father speaks about what happens if we are about drama. See when we
do things differently than what God wants us to do we then invite the things that are not blessings into our lives and even those who we love. And we wonder why we struggle. Our Father is Drama Free.
In continuing this teaching in the Word of God for Our Father is Drama Free we go to Obadiah 1:10-16. In these verses the Edomites, the descendants of Esau, are coming to basically kick the people of
God while they are down. They come to loot and take advantage of a bad situation. But God sees and knows all. Just because others advance farther or quicker than we do in our ministry there is no need to try to put them down. It is not of God. Our Father is Drama Free.
As we finish the Biblical portion of this teaching of Our Father is Drama Free I go to Matthew 27:1-5. In these verses Judas had betrayed Jesus and now felt remorse for what he had done but the people
who helped him turn their back on him and Judas kills himself. His place in life was to betray Jesus and he could had been forgiven. That person who you thought you should be with was not really yours because God had so much better for you. Our Father is Drama Free.
In closing we must understand that God has a plan for all of us. Although his plan may not seem to be what we think or know that it should be it is not for us to understand but to walk in the path that he has for us. We cannot love God and hate our neighbor. That is drama. We cannot say that Jesus is our Savoir when we do things that of sinful. And we cannot expect the Holy Spirit to dwell inside of us when we covet some one's position, money or significant other or husband/wife. It does not work like that. Our Father is Drama Free. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching. I also ask him to bless all who read this and even those who do not read this. Please read my next teaching on Monday called Drama Free in the Temple. Have a great day all.
