Good afternoon and Happy Saturday. As we continue in the month of I'm About That Life in October based on Daniel 6:16-22, Amos 5:4-8 and Galatians 2:17-21 we as human beings are always seeking something. Some of us, including myself seek alliances with sports teams in our towns or those who we like. Most of us seek satisfaction by going on shopping sprees to buy shoes, clothes, accessories and even jewelry from the big name stores such as Carson's, Macy's and Nordstrom's Rack. Then there are still others who seek to either cook the best dishes or find the best establishments like Pappadeaux's or Catch 37 to fulfill their appetites. Whatever most of us are seeking there is a goal, a purpose or an ends to a mean that is achieved. Although many of the people who may read my blog may already have a relationship with God today I am appealing to the ones who do not. Seek God and Live ( To Be About That Life).
As I go further into this teaching I want to define the word seek and I go to my source of definitions which is dictionary.com. The word seek means as follows; to go in search of, to try find or discover,
and to try to obtain. There are those of you who go in search of and nothing works. Others try to discover things only to see no results. And then many try to obtain stuff without the proper training. This teaching will be coming from the second base scripture, Amos 5:4-8. Seek God and Live ( To Be About That Life).
In going to the Word of God for the teaching of Seek God and Live I go to Amos 5:4-5. In these verses Amos speaks of how God is asking for repentance. He wants those of you who don't know him
to seek him rather to go in search of answers in places like Chicago, Detroit, London or any other landmark. Seek God and Live ( To Be About That Life.
In continuing in the Word of God for the teaching of Seek God and Live I continue in Amos 5:6-7, In these verses God speaks to Amos so he tell those who have not seen his signs and wonders to try to
discover his greatness and not to be fooled by those want to pervert justice and attempt to not want you know him.. Seek God and Live ( To Be About That Life).
In finishing in the Word of God for this teaching I go back to Amos 5:8. In this verse God speaks to Amos to have him tell the people who don't know him that he made the stars, the water, the earth, all
that exist. So all that you want to try to obtain here on earth you can if you know that God can allow you to do so. Seek God and Live ( To Be About That Life).
In closing there are many people all around the world who do not know that God is real. When they Seek God and Live you can open up that business, change how religion is viewed and have a successful stage play. When you Seek God and Live you can start that social media site or become a government official. When you Seek God and Live you can be advocate for education or become deeply involved in family matters. When you Seek God and Live it is easy To Be About That Life of Christ. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching and pray that someone who reads this Seeks God and Lives. Good morning and Happy Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. This past month I was riding with my friend Angela Francis. On this particular day she had to go get her hair done and her friend Roxanne' shop. I had done this numerous times in the past so when I was getting ready to leave I told Angela I was going to the forest preserve to sit and wait as she got her hair done. At the forest preserve I would be able to do two things while I was there. I would be able to think of ideas for my blog, my radio show and my daily postings on Facebook. When you attempt to write you sometimes get writer's block and need to get to a different atmosphere ( Hmmm Writer's Block may be a blog soon LOL ). The other reason I wanted to go to the forest preserve is because it was hot that day and I needed some shade. So as I approached the forest preserve I put on my left turn signal and waited for traffic coming southbound to clear. After

Maybe not myself because I had a self confidence problem, but everywhere you went there was someone taking pictures. In grammar school we took pictures every week. In high school we took them every year. At church we took pictures. In the club we took pictures as a group to show we all went to a party. Most of the pictures we took were with a Polaroid camera which had great quality then. But if you wanted the best pictures you wanted the photographer to take your pictures. This was one of the coolest professions back then because all the ladies who wanted to be models or actresses had to go to the photographer to get that photo to take to the different agencies to show how they look. Good morning and Happy Friday. The summer is now beginning and the weather is now reaching its highest temperatures. It has reached a high point of 90's so far in the Chicagoland area and it appears to be nothing in sight to relieve us of these conditions that are almost drought like. As the summer gets ready to start in earnest next week we anticipate the warmest temps of the year after a winter that saw a little snow but the hawk, ( that's what we call the wind in the CHI ) was in full effect. But the sun has been out daily and we need a little moisture in our lives. We expect things to get wet in order for us to not only cool off but to wash away some things and bring a freshness of new things in our lives. The hotness of the weather coincides with the hotness in our lives. We need things to cool off a little bit but need some things to come down so we can enjoy the things in our lives that is promised to us as Christians. We are faithful and trusting in his Word.
