Good evening and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Going Global in July based on Psalms 50:10-12, Mark 16:15-18 and 1st John 4:4-6 I am a big fan of westerns and especially ones that star Clint Eastwood. He has many I like such as the Outlaw Josey Wales, Pale Rider and Hang Em High. But my favorite is the one called The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. In the movie you have three men who are looking for the same thing, a treasure. The men are all looking for the same thing, a treasure that is buried in the grave of a confederate soldier. Each man had a story line as to how they would find the treasure such as being involved prison camps and the Civil War. As a person of faith there are many times in my life that things seemed to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
A person in this walk goes to what amount are seasons. Such as there is a spring, summer fall and winter such is there a time we all go through some things. There are good things such as birthdays and promotions.
There are bad things such as layoffs and death. There are ugly things such as divorce and committing violent acts. No matter what season we are in, God still is there, in the Good, in the Bad and in the Ugly.
In going to the Word of God and looking for the Good this passage touched me. In Philippians 2:5-11 Paul speaks of Jesus of not only humbling himself but doing the work that God sent him to do, which was to die
for our sins. Globally this a great thing and in such each and every person in each and every country should exalt this good thing. The name of Jesus is a powerful name that provides good when mentioned and believed upon. The Good.
As I go the Word of God again I go to look for the Bad I go to Nahum 1:3-8. In this passage the people of Israel has been overthrown by the Assyrians but God has seen enough. They have done things that has made
has not brought the wrath of God upon them. For those who are Globally going through the bad in this season please know that he is a refuge in a time of trouble. He will provide even in the Bad.
In looking in the Word of God for the Ugly I go to Revelation 12:13-17. In this passage Satan is enraged that Jesus has been sent to the earth to save the world and now he going to do any and everything to hunt
any and everyone who is connected with Jesus. Globally the enemy is all over your finances, your house, your land and your religious freedoms. But Jesus will bring relief to all who trust in him even during the Ugly
In closing there are going to always things that bring out our brightest smile, our frowns and our worst circumstances. These things happen all over the world Going Global in July is a way to reach out to those to share the good in when their life may in a ugly season. Or to be able to talk about the bad with a person who is going through something and needs to hear some good words or actions of encouragement. And there are going to be some ugly things that a person may need to share and your testimony will show them that it is not that bad. Seasons come and go but God is in them all. No matter if Good, Bad or Ugly. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching and I ask him to bless all who read this. On this particular day she had to go get her hair done and her friend Roxanne' shop. I had done this numerous times in the past so when I was getting ready to leave I told Angela I was going to the forest preserve to sit and wait as she got her hair done. At the forest preserve I would be able to do two things while I was there. I would be able to think of ideas for my blog, my radio show and my daily postings on Facebook. When you attempt to write you sometimes get writer's block and need to get to a different atmosphere ( Hmmm Writer's Block may be a blog soon LOL ). The other reason I wanted to go to the forest preserve is because it was hot that day and I needed some shade. So as I approached the forest preserve I put on my left turn signal and waited for traffic coming southbound to clear. After

Maybe not myself because I had a self confidence problem, but everywhere you went there was someone taking pictures. In grammar school we took pictures every week. In high school we took them every year. At church we took pictures. In the club we took pictures as a group to show we all went to a party. Most of the pictures we took were with a Polaroid camera which had great quality then. But if you wanted the best pictures you wanted the photographer to take your pictures. This was one of the coolest professions back then because all the ladies who wanted to be models or actresses had to go to the photographer to get that photo to take to the different agencies to show how they look. Good morning and Happy Friday. The summer is now beginning and the weather is now reaching its highest temperatures. It has reached a high point of 90's so far in the Chicagoland area and it appears to be nothing in sight to relieve us of these conditions that are almost drought like. As the summer gets ready to start in earnest next week we anticipate the warmest temps of the year after a winter that saw a little snow but the hawk, ( that's what we call the wind in the CHI ) was in full effect. But the sun has been out daily and we need a little moisture in our lives. We expect things to get wet in order for us to not only cool off but to wash away some things and bring a freshness of new things in our lives. The hotness of the weather coincides with the hotness in our lives. We need things to cool off a little bit but need some things to come down so we can enjoy the things in our lives that is promised to us as Christians. We are faithful and trusting in his Word.
