How Do You View You ( Part 2 )

Good morning and Happy Friday. As we continue in the month of Trending Now in November based on Genesis 45:3-8, Isaiah 63:10-14, and 1st John 2:1-5 I had a conversation with my friend Chef Stroud this morning. each time we talk our discussions center around different subjects but it most times comes back to how I see a issue through my eyes and how she sees a issue through her eyes. And as much as I try to make her see my point I never succeed because her views on things are different than mine. It is part of being individuals. Often times our attitudes and actions are shaped about what others say about us or the experiences that we have had with others. These people can have a negative way on shaping the person that you truly are. But on this day I would like each and everyone of who may read this blog to do a self evaluation. How Do You View You ?
On May of last year the third blog that I wrote was How Do You View You.  In Part 2 I want to define the word  view so as usual I go to my source of definitions and that is dictionary.com.
The word view means as follows; an instance of seeing or beholding, visual inspection, and a particular manner of looking at something. So in the next three paragraphs I am going to give instances of how the Word of God looks at three different scenarios and how the actions taken changed not only the view of themselves but also how they were able to make others feel better about themselves as well.
In looking at the first example of How Do You View You Part 2 I go in the Word of God and to Exodus 6:1-8 when God gives his covenant to Moses as well as the people of Israel which should have been best news ever. No more
bondage. No more disrespect. But in verse 9 the people turned their noses up to Moses and continued to stay in the same place. Their instance of seeing or beholden was distorted due to be conditioned to certain thinking of negativity. How Do You View You?

In the second example of How Do You View You Part 2 I go in the Word of God and to 1st Samuel ( one of my favorite books in the Bible )  18:1-7. In this passage David has gone into battle and defeated the
Philistines and the people are so happy that they break out in song that displeases Saul. It did not matter that David was doing the will of God and King Saul, the anger was already present and the visual inspection Saul had was one of trying to hurt David from this day forward ( verses 8-9 ). Many of us see accomplishments by others as invading on our space. How Do You View You?
In the last example of How Do You View You Part 2 I go to the Word of God and to Matthew 15:21- 26. In this passage of scripture the woman of Canaan, a Gentile, comes to Jesus asking to heal her child. Jesus told her that he was only
to save the children of Israel. But the woman persisted and showed a faith that Jesus had never saw before, not even for the people he was sent to save. In verses 27-28 her faith was able to save her daughter because of her particular manner of looking at something. Many of us would have taken a different approach and maybe given up. How Do You View You?
In conclusion How Do You View You. Each example was how people responded differently to criticism. We as a people of faith have been in bondage and our spirits low for too long. There has to be a different  instance of seeing or beholding yourself. In 2nd Timothy 1:8-9 it tells of your holy calling. We have to do a visual inspection of ourselves to see who we really are. In 1st Peter 2:9-10 it tells us of who we are. And finally we have a particular manner of looking at something that sometimes gets in the way if we are told no. In Revelation 1:5-6 it gives us another insight to who we are. Chef Stroud told me that a person's spirit can be jaded from years of mental abuse and at first I did not believe it but even in the Word of God people did not have a great view of themselves. But today I urge you love yourself and continue to do so in the face of the most difficult circumstances because you are a King/Queen, Champion, Royalty, Above and Never Beneath, the Chosen People of God. Now How Do You View You. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching. I want to say thank you for Chef Stroud for you enlightening about this issue. I want to thank Teacher Matti for bringing the idea of How Do You View You Part 2 to my attention. Have a great weekend all. Please join me for my next blog called I Will Trust In The Lord.
