Loose Your Doubts

Good morning and Happy Saturday. As we are still  Loose In February based on Joshua 5:15, Judges 15:14 and Mark 11:4-5 I want to tell you something that completely blew me away. I was talking to a man who I thought was a dog walker, which actually is a big business in the downtown Chicago area, who had come into the building I work in a cast. I had not seen him in a while and I had to ask what happened. The man had told me that he was actually walking his dog late at night one day and earlier in the day it had snowed and the temperatures had dropped to freezing the snow in some areas into ice. The man fell and by it being late at night when he fell saw that there was no one to help him. Not only was his leg broken but he would probably freeze to death since he had worn a jacket instead of a coat. Suddenly out of nowhere comes a homeless who helps him to his feet and and takes him into his building and into his condo. This homeless man actually sleeps on the steps of a church every night and I have seen him myself. So we should never give up on anything. Loose Your Doubts.

In looking up the word doubt I go to my source of definitions and that is Dictionary.com. The word doubt means as follows; to be uncertain about, consider questionable or unlikely, hesitate to believe. Many of us
about how we are going to start up and sustain our own business plans. Henry Ford who founded Ford went bankrupt twice. Walt Disney went bankrupt 5 times before he was able to build his dream. Rick Little developed a curriculum for high school students because he saw a need. He was turned down 150 times before he went to the Kellogg Foundation turned down his request to start the program at $55,000 dollars. Kellogg told him that instead they would give him $130,000 dollars instead. When you give it to God anything is possible. In the next three Chapters I am going to look at three examples of  people in the Word of God who had to Loose Their Doubts.

In looking at the first example in the Word of God of Loose Your Doubts I go Joshua the 12th Chapter. In this chapter is tells of all the kings that the people of Israel had to go through to possess the land that God
had promised them. Altogether there were thirty and one kingdoms that they had to defeat. If Joshua had been uncertain about what our God can do he would have never had been able to do this. In a way to change things in this world we must act on our ideas that we may be uncertain about. It will work because God is certainly behind it. As he told Joshua to possess these kingdoms he is telling you the same.

In looking at the second example of the Word of God of Loose You Doubts I go to 1st Samuel 1:10-20
and look at Hannah to see how doubt could have been a just take over her life. She was teased by Peninnah
constantly because she could not bear children. Hannah could have considered her request questionable or highly unlikely as she spoke with God through her spirit. But Hannah believed her request would be granted because God answers prayers. Our plans for our businesses can come through because we have a the Holy Spirit who we can tap into to talk for us when we may not have to ability on our own to do things. We have to Loose Our Doubts.

In looking at the last example Loose Your Doubts I look in the Word of God at John 5:1-18. In this passage we see that Jesus sees a man who had been laying by a pool of healing for 38 years. People knew
this man needed help but refused. But when Jesus is present you have no need of a pool. His faith made him whole. Jesus knew that healing on the Sabbath would make the Pharisees angry and he could have waited until the next day to heal the man. But Jesus was here to fulfill the law so he could not have people hesitant to believe. In our business ideas there are people who will not believe your business is real or even profitable. You have to not be hesitant to believe. As Jesus made the man whole after 38 years who says he cannot make your business whole. Loose Your Doubts.
In closing you must have faith to defeat the doubts of your friends, families and coworkers who say that you will not make it in your business endeavors. The building I am a doorman in there are many people who work for start up businesses that are doing real well. There are companies and business opportunities abounding. I mentioned the dog walker business because it is profitable. Can you imagine if people of faith just started flooding the world with businesses how much we can change the world. While writing this blog a friend named Jennifer Moore called me about a faith based running club that competes in different events but also has meetings that deals with the Word of God. This is an example of how business can be proactive outside the walls of the church and make a difference. To God I give all the glory. I am a writer for thegeekchicmag.com.
