Acts of Jesus

Good morning and Happy Friday. As we continue in the month of Acts of September based on Acts 1:7-8, 4:29-31 and 28:25-27 I have been under intense pressure from each and every position in my life. I have seen things mount up to where it seems like I cannot see the forest for the trees. I do not know up from down. I want to just crawl up in a ball and cry. I do not even see a way out of the position I am because the problems keep coming even when it seems like my head is above water. I want to exercise but my body will not let me. Even though I am have met a wonderful person I am still nowhere near feeling good about myself or even close to approaching more at this time. Even though I will publish this blog later as I write this it is one of the worst days in America history and my youngest son Marcus birthday. I then come to my senses finally and now know who I should have been calling all along I should have been calling for the Acts of Jesus.
Many times we as people of faith forgot to extend our hands to the Rabbonni, the Master teacher and wallow in our own self pity. The enemy gets between us and our faith and most times wins out because we do not
ask Jesus to come and fix it. In Numbers 13:31-33 the majority of the people did not trust in God and did not go to the promise land. In 1st Samuel 13:8-14 Saul was disobedient and lost his whole kingdom. And in Jonah 1:1-4 we see how Jonah did his own thing. We must call on the Acts of Jesus to fix any problems and  I will use three examples of Acts of Jesus from the book of Acts.

In the first example of the Acts of Jesus I go to the first base scripture and that is Acts 1:7-8 but also add verses 9-10. Jesus has promised them and us the Holy Spirit is to come and to help guide us into
Jesus Ascending Into Heaven

the land of milk and honey. We continue to look up to see if  we see  Jesus instead of calling on his name and having him go to God on our behalf. We must have a dependency on the Acts of Jesus.

In my next example of Acts of Jesus I go Acts 11:4-12 we see where Peter defends why he went to the people of Italian ancestry to baptize them in the name of Jesus and for them to receive the Holy
Spirit. Now if Peter was like Saul in 1st Samuel 13:8-14 he would have done his own thing and never had been able to spread the good news of Christ to many others. We must obey the Acts of Jesus.

In the last example of Acts of Jesus I go to the Word of God and Acts 22:17-21. In this short passage we see where Jesus tells Paul that he will be able to spread the gospel of Christ to the Gentiles as the
people in Jerusalem, those of Jewish descent.  will not receive the gospel of Christ. Now if Paul was like Jonah and went on his own way there might not be all the books written by Paul. We must fulfill the Acts of Jesus.

In conclusion I feel that much better because all of my problems have been replaced by the promises of God as he sent his son to die for our sins. In Hebrews 13:8 we see he never changes. in 1st Peter 11:11-12 we see where the Jesus was even present in the Old Testament. In Revelations 1:8 he tells us he is still yet to come. Yes Jesus will return one day and I pray that I am present that day. But in the mean time I shall embrace the name of Jesus and await the future Acts of Jesus because I know they are coming. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching. Please join me for my next blog called Acts of Boldness which will deal with the second base scripture Acts 4:29-31. Also please look at Rhema Word 2.0 blog which I am a contributor and a editor. I thank Superintendent Liz Hope and her allowing me to be part of that. Have a great weekend.
