More in March

Good morning and Happy Friday. Brand new month. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue to be in the Year of the Wind based on Exodus 14:21 and Acts 2:2 I am just happy that I have made it thus far. This year we have already Published in January based on Psalm 26:7 and Luke 8:39 about how great God is. And then we Loosed in February based on  Joshua 5:15, Judges 15:14 and Mark 11:4-5 to free ourselves from some things and loose other things on the world. On this the 60th day of the year 2013 I think back to time that my Godmother Emma Patton was living. Ms. Patton was the sweetest woman outside of my family that I had ever known. When I was younger I would spend the night over her and Rev. R. H. Patton's house and she would make the best fried chicken in the world. My piece of choice was drumsticks and she always would make them for me. When my plate was clear she would never ask was I full. She would always attempt to more on my plate. I would either accept the pieces or nod that I was full. I know we need More in March.

In looking at the Word of God again go to my source of definitions and that is of course Dictionary.com. The word means as follows; in greater quantity, measure and degree. In this month we look

a greater quantity of blessings and favor from God. In this month we take measures to let people see more of the great things that God is capable of doing. In this month we take it to a higher degree to do the work that God wants us to do here on earth. We live and give More in March. I have two base scriptures that I will use for this month and use another scripture for the purpose of this blog.

In looking at the first base scriptures for More in March I go to one of my favorite books of the Word of God and that is Exodus. In Exodus 1:9-12 we see where the new Pharaoh is worried about how the people

of God has grown to out number the Egyptians and this is causing him issues. But the more he inflicted them the more in quantity they grew. When things are not going that well even as we begin this month there is one thing for certain. Before breakthrough of quantity you have to go through something. More blessings are on tap in March. They will multiply and grow no matter what the opposition has in store for. More in March.

In looking in the Word of God for a supporting Scriptures for More in March outside of the two base scriptures I go to 1st Chronicles 4:9-10. These two scriptures tell the story of Jabez. In reading we see he is

more honorable than his brethren. But we see he also took it upon himself to go to great measure and  called upon God to have his request fulfilled. When God does something for us we must spread the news. That is what gospel means, spreading the news. It may be material and it may be spiritual but take measures to share with others. It is what God wants us to do. Jabez asked evil not to come upon him. God answered his prayer. He had to tell someone because it is in the Word of God. More in March.

In looking at the other base scriptures for More in March I go to 2nd Peter 1:19-22. It speaks of now that Jesus has died for our sins we have a light that shines and how the prophecy is of today not yesterday. As I

listening to song above I thought of when my Mother used to sing this and immediately went into a moment of worship. I know I can do more for God. I know I can be active in changing the way arts and entertainment is portrayed. I know I can do more in the area of family. I know I can do more in the area of social media. I know I can do more in the area of business. I know I can do more in the area of government. I know I can do more in the area of education. I know I can do more in the area of religion. If we truly love Jesus and have a light that shines in dark places and know that this prophecy is true and have the Holy Spirit within us we have to take it to a greater degree to do what God needs us to do. More in March.

In closing we should expect more, tell others more and do more to expand the kingdom of God. When I would go to Mrs. Patton' s house I expected to be blessed with the chicken because I knew she would make it for me. I would then tell others about how great of a cook my Godmama was. But I had to get good grades in school or do some chores around her house in order for her to continue to cook me the chicken. God will give us quantity, we can tell others of his measure and he us to go a greater degree in our works for him. More In March. To God I give all the glory and honor.
