Good morning and Happy Sunday. Brand new month. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we leave the month of Character in January based on Ruth 1:15-17 and John 6:64-66 we move into another portion of the year 2017. Most of my teachings in the first month were ways to make you feel good about the direction that you are going. The path and goals we set may be different for each of us. I want to lose some weight, become a better person and be mindful of others feelings, which at times can be hard. And as character plays a big part of this I cannot fall back into the things that are not of God. If I want to continue to be honest and have courage and show integrity I cannot just say I am going to be those things. I have to take them to another level. And the one way I can do that is by advancing what I learned. Not only that but also the kingdom of God. So for the theme of this month is Advancement in February.
In looking to find out the meaning of the word advancement I go to my source of definitions and that is dictionary.com. The word advancement means as follows; and act of moving forward. One of the
things that happens is that we lose focus quickly of the goals and dreams we have set in the new year and then become complacent. In this my year of I Have Got Work To Do, I have continue to act of moving forward. Advancement i February.
We now can go to the Word of God and begin to explore what will be the base scriptures for this month. So we begin in Esther 10:1. In this verse we see where a powerful king has imposed sanctions
on land where the people of God were supposed to have trouble in. When advancing the kingdom of God the king of kings will take away roadblocks and allow things to help you with this work. Advancement in February.
As we continue in the Word of God for the base scriptures of the month of Advancement in February we go Esther 10:2. In this verse we see the reason for the king imposed the sanctions on the land was
because of the work of Mordeci. This month will look at how Mordeci became so great in the eyes of man and of God as he did not waver in anything that he did and that is how he became great. Advancement n February.
As we come to the end of the Biblical portion of this teaching Advancement in February the last base scripture of the month is Esther 10:3. In this verse we see how far that Mordeci has moved forward
and became second in command in the entire region. As we teach this month you will see how far Mordeci has come. Advancement in February.
In conclusion the work that we have to do for God should take precedence over any and everything. In order to move forward we must become more active in places like the media (social included), arts and entertainment, saving the family structure, the education of others to the wonders of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, looking at doing away with some of religious restrictions and taking the Word of God to the streets, look to advance businesses that are part of the kingdom of God and if ever there was time, now is the time to become more active in government affairs. Mordeci did all that by himself as the teachings of this month will show as the acts of his moving forward are chronicled in the Word of God. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching and ask him to watch over all that read this and even those who do not. On this particular day she had to go get her hair done and her friend Roxanne' shop. I had done this numerous times in the past so when I was getting ready to leave I told Angela I was going to the forest preserve to sit and wait as she got her hair done. At the forest preserve I would be able to do two things while I was there. I would be able to think of ideas for my blog, my radio show and my daily postings on Facebook. When you attempt to write you sometimes get writer's block and need to get to a different atmosphere ( Hmmm Writer's Block may be a blog soon LOL ). The other reason I wanted to go to the forest preserve is because it was hot that day and I needed some shade. Maybe not myself because I had a self confidence problem, but everywhere you went there was someone taking pictures. In grammar school we took pictures every week. In high school we took them every year. At church we took pictures. In the club we took pictures as a group to show we all went to a party. Most of the pictures we took were with a Polaroid camera which had great quality then. But if you wanted the best pictures you wanted the photographer to take your pictures. This was one of the coolest professions back then because all the ladies who wanted to be models or actresses had to go to the photographer to get that photo to take to the different agencies to show how they look. Good morning and Happy Friday. The summer is now beginning and the weather is now reaching its highest temperatures. It has reached a high point of 90's so far in the Chicagoland area and it appears to be nothing in sight to relieve us of these conditions that are almost drought like. As the summer gets ready to start in earnest next week we anticipate the warmest temps of the year after a winter that saw a little snow but the hawk, ( that's what we call the wind in the CHI ) was in full effect. But the sun has been out daily and we need a little moisture in our lives. We expect things to get wet in order for us to not only cool off but to wash away some things and bring a freshness of new things in our lives. The hotness of the weather coincides with the hotness in our lives. We need things to cool off a little bit but need some things to come down so we can enjoy the things in our lives that is promised to us as Christians. We are faithful and trusting in his Word.
