Our Will

Good afternoon and Happy Sunday.Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited.  As we continue  in the month of Breach of Contract in September based on Deuteronomy 1:32-35, 1st Samuel 13:12-14 and Romans 10:18, 20-21 there are many days that I want to do whatever I want to do. I want to sleep until noon everyday. I want to be able to watch sports all day every day. And I want to slap that guy who almost hit me with his car. But that is not what I am supposed to do as I am part of the Body of Christ. It seems more each day instead of doing the will of God we as a people of God want to do Our Will.
Seeing how the world lives we all want to do Our Will. It seems that those who do not have a 9 to 5 have more bling and cash than those that do. we have. It seems that those who do unscrupulous
things are getting ahead while we struggle to keep our heads above water. And there are laws that have been enacted that allows people to be whoever they want to be. And we as a people of God are being caught up in Our Will instead of God's will.
As we now go to the Word of God for this teaching of Our Will I go to 1st Kings 11:4-5. In these verses we see where the great King Solomon after being blessed by God for many years he begin to
want to be part of what the women around him were doing and began to worship other gods, Like Solomon there are some of us who have been blessed by God but  want to turn to the things not of God by doing Our Will.
In continuing with this teaching of Our Will I go back to the Word of God and 1st Kings 11:6-8. In these verses King Solomon takes it to another level by building shrines to these gods and doing evil.
Some of us as members of the Body of Christ have been things such as  getting drunk and taking as many drugs as possible and having as many sexual encounters as possible. That is not God's will but Our Will.
As we come to the end of the Biblical portion of this teaching of Our Will we go to 1st Kings 11:9-10. We see in these verses hat God is angry that Solomon turned away after he had appeared to
Solomon twice and told him when showing him favor not to do this. We say we love God but we are more concerned with being fleek and showing off our worldly possessions that in a sense we worship them and forget God showed us favor in getting the things in the first place. Our Will.
In conclusion we have to put Our Will to bed and continue to follow the teachings of the Lord. When we do not we are Breaching Our Contract with him and that will place not only you in a dangerous situation but your descendants as well as if you read on in 1st Kings 11:11-13. God has done some things in your life that others could only dream about. God has even blessed you when you were messy. And the favor that God shows each and everyone of us is amazing. We have to do God's will, not Our Will. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching. and ask him to bless each and every person. Please join me for a teaching called Premeditation. And if you have a chance please go to Rhema Word 2.0 for a teaching called If Your Happy and You Know It (Give God Praise).
