Good morning and Happy Saturday. As we continue in the month of Foreseeability in August based on Daniel 12:1-3, Zechariah 8:7-9 and Revelation 10:9-11 growing up I was spoiled rotten by my parent, grandparents and even my godparents. There was nothing in the world that I wanted that was kept from me. Far be it to me to say that I once had life easy and carefree. Things changed once I gt older Once I got out of a bad marriage and a bad relationship I was reeling because I had basically cut off all ties and became withdrawn when that was not my personality. I sought solace in drugs, women and being a malcontent. There was only one place that I could turn and I thank God that he had saw the Foreseeability of me Being One of His.
You see I could not have known that the things that were going to happen to me would be some of the worst things that could happen to any person. I don't know about any of you but I shed so many
tears and wondered when would things become different. It could not happen on my time it had to happen when God wanted it to be. Coming from the 2nd base scripture, Zechariah 8:7-9, we look at the Foreseeability of Being One of His.
In coming into the Word of God for this teaching of Foreseeability of Being One of His I go to Zechariah 8:7. In this verse it speaks of how the people of God have been scattered about after so
many years of being captive that he will now bring them all back into his fold. After being addicted to drugs for many years God saw me and pulled me back into his bosom. Foreseeability of Being One of His.
As we continue with this teaching of Foreseeability of Being One of His we go back to the Word of God and to Zechariah 8:8. In this verse God tells of how once he brings back his people that they all
in his midst and he will be our God. Once I was really out there I thought that this lady had my back or this one would help me out when in fact their own agendas were being taken care of. God saw I was in bad shape and fixed my situation. Foreseeability of Being One of His.
As we come to the end of the Biblical portion of this teaching of Foreseeability of Being One of His I go to Zechariah 8:9. In this verse it speaks of how it wants us to remain strong as we have been told
by the prophets. I wanted to anything other that what my elders wanted me to be as I continued to do things that we contrary to the teachings of God but he brought me out anyway. Foreseeability of Being One of His.
In conclusion for those of you whom are going through some of the worst times of your life because of problems and issues that seem to burden you, God sees you are One of His and will come and save you. For those of you who cannot seem to make a way out of no way God knows you are One of His and will begin to dwell among you. And for those who continue to lean on the Word of God in the face of stiff opposition, please remember to stay strong and the words of the prophets who were blessed to be called by God to teach his Word. Good morning and Happy Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. This past month I was riding with my friend Angela Francis. On this particular day she had to go get her hair done and her friend Roxanne' shop. I had done this numerous times in the past so when I was getting ready to leave I told Angela I was going to the forest preserve to sit and wait as she got her hair done. At the forest preserve I would be able to do two things while I was there. I would be able to think of ideas for my blog, my radio show and my daily postings on Facebook. When you attempt to write you sometimes get writer's block and need to get to a different atmosphere ( Hmmm Writer's Block may be a blog soon LOL ). The other reason I wanted to go to the forest preserve is because it was hot that day and I needed some shade. Maybe not myself because I had a self confidence problem, but everywhere you went there was someone taking pictures. In grammar school we took pictures every week. In high school we took them every year. At church we took pictures. In the club we took pictures as a group to show we all went to a party. Most of the pictures we took were with a Polaroid camera which had great quality then. But if you wanted the best pictures you wanted the photographer to take your pictures. This was one of the coolest professions back then because all the ladies who wanted to be models or actresses had to go to the photographer to get that photo to take to the different agencies to show how they look. Good morning and Happy Friday. The summer is now beginning and the weather is now reaching its highest temperatures. It has reached a high point of 90's so far in the Chicagoland area and it appears to be nothing in sight to relieve us of these conditions that are almost drought like. As the summer gets ready to start in earnest next week we anticipate the warmest temps of the year after a winter that saw a little snow but the hawk, ( that's what we call the wind in the CHI ) was in full effect. But the sun has been out daily and we need a little moisture in our lives. We expect things to get wet in order for us to not only cool off but to wash away some things and bring a freshness of new things in our lives. The hotness of the weather coincides with the hotness in our lives. We need things to cool off a little bit but need some things to come down so we can enjoy the things in our lives that is promised to us as Christians. We are faithful and trusting in his Word.
