Afraid of Going Into New Territory

Good morning and Thankful Thursday. Brand new week. As we continue in the month of Integration in July based on Isaiah 11:10-12, John 7:6-8 and Acts 11:15-17 in the wild kingdom the male lion is basically the person who most other animals avoid and respect. He or them, at times there are more than two, are responsible for their female lions and cubs, called a pride, and the territory they all live in. Most times these areas are near water and the best feeding grounds. In order for other adult male lions to come into these territories they have to come in prepared to fight. In order to Integrate the Word of God to others we have to go into places where there is no comfort zone. But there are some that are Afraid of Going Into New Territory.
I live in Chicago where there have 12,000 shooting incidents since the year 2010. The nation as a whole is still dealing with aspects of racism and there is still the Boko Haram that is terrorizing
Africa. So there is a need  for the people of God to have our presence to be in some of these territories. God is with us so there is no need to be Afraid of Going Into New Territory.
In going to the Word of God for this teaching of Afraid of Going Into New Territory I begin in Numbers 13:28-29. In these verses ten of the twelve spies come back with news that the place where
God has sent them is filled with people who would do them harm. The people of God are content with looking at all the violence in Chicago and just shaking our heads instead of going to the streets and bringing the Word of God to the forefront. Afraid of Going Into New Territory.
As we continue with this teaching of Afraid of Going Into New Territory I go to Numbers 13:31-32. in these verses the ten spies were adamant about not going to places where the people were stronger
and the land would devour them. As racism across America is growing the people of God are content with letting the laws of the land take care of the issues instead of being in the forefront. Afraid of Going Into New Territory.
As I end the Biblical portion of this teaching of Afraid of Going Into New Territory I go to Numbers 13:33. In this verse the ten spies are so afraid of the men of Anak that they think of themselves as
small in there sight so there was no need to go any further. As the army of Boko Haram continues to kill and kidnap are the people of God attempting to challenge their authority. Afraid of Going Into New Territory.
In closing unless the outside male lion or lions come into challenge the male lion or lions who are in charge the can never get to advance their kingdom and get to the areas where there is water and plenty of food and have a pride of female lions hunt for them. We as the people of God have to challenge any and every stronghold of the enemy no matter if it is the gangs in Chicago, the racism across the country or the violence of Boko Haram. These are and will always be places where the Gospel needs to be heard and in the forefront. Being inside the walls of the church giving praise and worship on Sundays is cool and there is NOTHING wrong with that. It is the other things that we cannot let continue to happen. Afraid of Going Into New Territory. I give God all the honor and the glory and thank him for guiding to thru this teaching. Please join me next week for a teaching called Idols in the Heart. Also if you can go to Rhema Word 2.0 to be blessed by a teaching called Sex In the City. Have a great weekend all.
