Integration Needs to Begin Within

Good afternoon and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Integrate in July based on Isaiah 11:10-12, John 7:6-8 and Acts 11:15-17 when the neighborhoods in Chicago began to become integrated most of the time it was met with hatred and violence. Not that any minority who moved in these neighborhoods had done something to the people who were already there, it was just conditioned in the hearts of those already in the neighborhoods to hate and to show their hate by any means necessary. Some members of the Body of Christ have some things in their hearts that does not allow them to be a vessel for the Body of Christ. There are some that still have Integration Needs to Begin Within.
Some of us have what is akin to having idols within us. We cannot put down the idol of jealousy of other people doing better than us. We cannot put away the idol of gambling away because it helps us
supplement our income. And there are still some of us who hate others just on general principles. God is a God of love and when these idols are in your heart you can't effectively spread the Gospel of Christ. Integration Needs to Begin Within.
As I begin this teaching of Integration Needs to Begin Within I go to Ezekiel 14:2-3. In these verses God speaks to Ezekiel and tells him there are some of the chosen people of God who have idols in
hearts, so much so that God wonders should he even hear their prayers. Our mission as the Body of Christ is to change the world but if our heart has things that are not of God we may not hear from God. Integration Needs to Begin Within.
As we continue in the Word of God for this teaching of Integration Needs to Begin Within I go to Ezekiel 14:4-5. In these verses God tells Ezekiel that all those who place things in their hearts before
him God will answer them by working on their hearts. We cannot place any other things in our lives and then not expect God to come in with some kind of harsh judgment. Integration Needs to Begin Within.
As I come to the end of the Biblical portion of this teaching of Integration Needs to Begin Within I go Ezekiel 14:6-8. In these verses it tells of not only the people of God but those who are not
connected who will have God turn away from them and feel his wrath because of idols in the heart, To obtain the love of God we must change our hearts. Integration Needs to Begin Within.
In conclusion this teaching showed how the people of God, who were in captivity and the people of the world looked away from God to the things of the world. There are some things that we as a people can not let go and that places a idol in our heart that will not allow the Word of God to become a dwelling place there. In order to bring others to the Body of Christ we may need to change ourselves first. I know I do. Integration Needs to Begin Within.I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching. And if you can please go to Rhema Word 2.0 for a teaching called Sex In the City. Please join me later this week for  teaching At Least It Was Offered.  (Actually Worldwide). Have a great week all.
