Evidence In May ( Theme of the month)

Good morning and Happy Friday. Brand new month. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we move into the 121st of the year 2015 and the 94th day we have already made our lives Drama Free in January based on 1st Kings 3:23-28 and Mark 12:13-17 and then Renewed in February based on Psalms 51:10-13, Isaiah 40:28-31 and Ephesians 4:20-24. Onboarding in March based on Deuteronomy 6:5-9, John 10:25-30 and 1st  Corinthians 1:18-24 which gave us strategies on how to orientate, train, recruit and retain new and old members of the Body of Christ. Last month we petitioned God to Hear Our Prayers based on 2nd Chronicles 6:38-40, Psalms 130:1-6 and Daniel 9:16-19. As members of the Body of Christ one of the questions that those of the world has is that is the things we believe in actually so and they clamor for proof. So this month we do just that. We provide the proof. This month is Evidence In May.
In beginning this teaching of Evidence in May I want to define the key word of the theme and that is evidence. I am going to go to my source of definitions which is dictionary.com. Evidence means as
follows; something that tends to prove or disprove; something that makes plain or clear; and facts in issue and which may include testimony of witnesses, records or documents. We as the Body of Christ are the living definition of the word evidence. Based on the following 3 passages of scripture lets us get into this teaching of Evidence in May.
In going to the Word of God for this teaching of Evidence in May we begin in Acts 4:15-17 for the first base scripture of the month. This passage tells us of how the powers that be saw the evidence of
the power given to man in the name of Jesus but they wanted to continue to keep things just the way they were. As members of the Body of Christ we have something that tends to prove that what we believe is real. Evidence In May.
In going back to the Word of God for this teaching of Evidence in May I go to Philippians 1:12-14 for the second base scriptures. In this passage we see that the writer Paul is bound by chains in prison
but know that Christ is there with him. We as the Body of Christ may be going through some things know but we have something that makes clear and plain that we shall overcome and exceed. Evidence in May.
In coming to the end of the Biblical portion of this teaching of Evidence in May, the last base scripture for this month will come from Hebrews 11:1-3. I these verses the writer speaks of faith as
evidence of things not seen. Our faith as the Body of Christ is embedded in the facts in issue and which may include testimony of witnesses, records or documents that we all have. Evidence in May.
In conclusion as a member of the Body of Christ we all have things that we have come in and out of. There is no better proof of the realness of God, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit than just looking at the lives that we used to live. No everyone was not on drugs but some where. No everyone was not in gangs, but some where. No everyone was not homeless but some where. No everyone was not there doing any and every thing with there bodies but some where. You are the evidence that the things we say are so. Do not let the world tell you different. Evidence in May. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching.
