Evidence of a Mother's Love

Good afternoon and Happy Saturday. As we continue in the in the month of Evidence in May based on Acts 4:15-17, Philippians 1:12-14 and Hebrews 11:1-3 I want to celebrate a woman in the picture with me who has done a remarkable job as Mother. I can say this because I have seen firsthand what a great job that she has done not only for me but my sister as well as our children (especially mine). Although she has been a mother for a very long time she continues to spread her love onto her grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren. She is now helping my grandmother as she advances in age but does not complaing My Mother, JoAnn Wesley, is Evidence of a Mother's Love.
See in in the 2000's there has been sense to want to change what motherhood is all about. There seems to be a want to be a baby mama instead of a mother of a baby. There seems to be a sense that
having a child stops you life instead of believing that having that child begins your life. I am so thankful to God that even though she did not have to, My Mother is Evidence of a Mother's Love.
As I go to the Word of God to begin to show Evidence of a Mother's Love I begin in Judges 5:6-7. In this passage Debra saw that a change was needed in her land and she went to make change with the
help of God. My Mother saw that as a teen I was beginning a path of self destruction and she went to God in prayer to change the situation in my life. Evidence of a Mother's Love.

In continuing in the Word of God for this teaching of Evidence of a Mother's Love I go to John 2:4-6. In this passage Mary the Mother of Jesus tells him the wine is running out at the wedding. Even as

Jesus tells Mary his time has not come yet he stills does what she said. Although I have had my own.  opinion on how things should be done my mother always had the opinion that counted. Evidence of a Mother's Love.

As I come to the end of this teaching of Evidence of a Mother's Love I go back to the Word of God and Matthew 15:21-28. In this verse the Caanaanite women goes to Jesus wanting her daughter to be
healed and even though there not of the people of God she persisted and her child was healed. When I was addicted on drugs and alcohol and not part of the Body of Christ My Mother continually went to Jesus to ask him to heal me. Evidence of a Mother's Love.
In conclusion my Mother saw a need for a change in my life and went to God in prayer for my deliverance. My Mother showed me that respecting her was not an option but a requirement. And My Mother helped me through some of the roughest times of my life by being connected to Jesus and going to him on my behalf. I am glad that she was never a baby mama and thank God she was my Mother. JoAnn Wesley is Evidence of a Mother's Love. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching. Please join me Monday for a teaching based on the second base scripture of the month, Philippians 1:12-14 called Evidence of Christ in me. Please go to Rhema Word 2.0 for a teaching called Judge Them Not that was written by me. Have a great Mothers Day Weekend. I love you Ma!!!!

  1. Fred, I had a tear when I read that beautiful article you posted on your blog "Brand New Week, Brand New Attitude. God does hear and answers prayer and it was not when I thought he should have because you had to learn your lesson the way you had mapped out because of disobedience. But He was there all the time and He did answer our prayers after many lessons learned the hard way. Your Aunt Josephine, Aunt Elnora, Aunt Ruthie, Grandma, all the concerned mothers were crying out and He hearken unto our cry. Praise God for being ever present in the time of trouble! Thanks for the beautiful article that depict Mothers trusting God!
