Evil That Men Do.

Good afternoon and Happy Tuesday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Favor in September based on Exodus 3:19-21, Proverbs 8:32-35 and Luke 2:51-52 each month I do a teaching that does not deal with the theme of the month. This teaching is personal to me because it involves me personally. See while I have been teaching the Word of God I have also been doing something that was not of God or his teachings. See for the last year I had been estranged from my ex-girlfriend as we broke up. And I have had a budding friendship with someone whom I really like. But even though me and my ex-girlfriend were estranged to people who were looking on the outside I really had still been seeing her even though she had a boyfriend and I was in a budding friendship/relationship. I can only blame myself. It is part of what the Evil That Men Do.
See I was connected to my ex for many many years. One of the connections that we had that we were mostly friends and knew about each other's problems and issues. I would try to help her solve
some of her issues and problems and she would do the same for me. But the things we were doing for each other we not known to her boyfriend and were not known to the woman I was pursuing. I was wrong in keeping this from being known to my new friend. The Evil That Men Do.
As I go in the Word of God for this teaching of the Evil That Men Do I start in Judges 16:4-21. In this passage Samson meets Delilah and from there we see where Samson goes down a destructive
path. I was still being blessed by God but I was living outside of the teachings of God by having more than a friend relations with my ex and when you teach the Word of God you are held more accountable than most. The Evil That Men Do.
In going to the Word of God for another example of Evil That Men Do  I go to 2nd Samuel the 11th Chapter. In this passage we are introduced to King David, Bathsheba and Uriah. This story tells of
how David lusted, connived and eventually had someone killed, Uriah, to get to Bathsheba. God could not bless that at all and we see what happened in the end. Even though not a sexual relationship I was still wrong to be involved with some one who not only did I know her but her man was the choir director at the church. The Evil That Men Do.
As I go to the final example in this teaching of Evil That Men Do I go to the Word of God and 1 Kings 11:1-13. In this passage King Solomon, probably one of the wisest kings in history turned his
back from God to satisfy the women that serve goddesses ( mostly sexual goddesses). I was pursuing a great woman, had a great teaching ministry but was on the verge of losing it all as eventually me and the ex-girlfriend did something sexual despite others in our lives. The Evil That Men Do.
As I com,e to the conclusion of this teaching I guess there are some who wonder why I would divulge these details. One is because the things that I do and have done was seen by my sons and they think that it is ok. This cycle has to be broken. I have be transparent and have been honest with the person whom I am pursuing.  I am a teacher of the Word of God so I am accountable for my actions and will have to answer to God. And it is to show that even though I still have weaknesses that I need God to remove. The Evil That Men Do. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching. Please Join me on Saturday for my teaching of Favor From Your Enemies. Have a great week all.
