Good morning and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of Don't In April based on Judges 16:15-19, Jeremiah 26:12-15 and John 12:9-11 the picture I am using of myself this week is one of me dressed as if I had been or am taking culinary courses. Those who know me personally know that is not true and were initially fooled by this picture and thought I was trying to fool the readers of my blogs to think I was a chef. The reason I and others I was with at the time had not only this top on but black pants as well and are clean shaven is that we were preparing to do a photo shoot for something that dealt in the culinary arts. So in order to even be in the photo shoot you had to agree to wear what they provided and have a set amount of time to stay in order to get paid. It was part of the Terms and Conditions. We as people of faith no matter what denomination we are have to abide by certain Terms and Conditions that God has set forth. ( Don't Be Fooled ).
In looking the words terms and conditions I go to my old stand by and that is dictionary.com. The word terms means as follows; a condition with regard to payment; stipulation limiting what is proposed to be done;
and a footing or standing in regard to relations. Conditions means as follows; circumstance indispensable to some result; something demanded as a essential part of an agreement; and the state of health of something. In Deuteronomy 7:1-9 God shows us part of what is his Terms and Conditions. In John 3: 1-9 Jesus speaks about how being born again in the spirit as Term and Condition. And In Romans 10:5-10 it tells of confessing that you believe Jesus has risen and you will be saved is another Term and Condition to have things in your life go better. But many of us including myself want to have things our own way and we then violate certain Terms and Conditions. ( Don't Be Fooled ).
In beginning this teaching on Terms and Conditions( Don't Be Fooled ) I go to Genesis 26:1-10. In this
passage of scripture Isaac hears from God that he is to stay in the land which God has not only for him but his descendants as well and that is Gerar. Even in a time of famine God advised him to stay. But Isaac placed his own with regard to payment and a circumstance indispensable to some result by telling all that Rebekah was his sister instead of his wife. Many of us have a calling to do something in social media, business or arts and entertainment but we do things our own ways and in our own times and place Terms and Conditions that have hinder us from being successful in these areas. God has never failed us ( Don't Be Fooled ).
In looking at another example of Terms and Conditions ( Don't Be Fooled ) in the Word of God I go to Acts 7:44-51. In this passage Stephen is setting the people straight on how they resisted in the past and even now.
Many of us have not followed the guidance of the Holy Spirit by placing stipulations limiting what is proposed to be done by not doing something demanded as a essential part of an agreement and that is trusting the Holy Spirit. You wonder why your areas of education and family are suffering. It is because of your own Terms and Conditions ( Don't Be Fooled ).
In looking at the last example of Terms and Conditions ( Don't Be Fooled ) I go to the word of God and to Galatians 2:14-21. In this passage Paul is explaining how the church wants to place restrictions on how you
can get close to Jesus. Even today there is a footing or standing in regard to relations as to the the state of health of the church and governments. Due to religion practices churches are losing members. Due to our government faith based issues are going to the wayside because of their own Terms and Conditions ( Don't Be Fooled ).
In closing I urge you to not be fooled by the enemy as he uses Terms and Conditions to keep us from doing things. Write that play and in time God will make it happen. Become active in social media telling others about the goodness of God. Email you elected officials to let them know you exist and to enact faith based laws that can only help where you reside. Get involved in the education of the gospel for yourself and the youth by going to Sunday School and Bible Study. Break out of the norm and take religion to the streets to save souls. Become proactive in the family for this is a stronghold the enemy wants to try to come between and control. Get that business plan together and see how God moves. Just do it !!! With God the Father, Jesus the Son and The Holy Spirit in your life following their Terms and Conditions instead of your own there is nothing you will not be able to see, do or accomplish. On this particular day she had to go get her hair done and her friend Roxanne' shop. I had done this numerous times in the past so when I was getting ready to leave I told Angela I was going to the forest preserve to sit and wait as she got her hair done. At the forest preserve I would be able to do two things while I was there. I would be able to think of ideas for my blog, my radio show and my daily postings on Facebook. When you attempt to write you sometimes get writer's block and need to get to a different atmosphere ( Hmmm Writer's Block may be a blog soon LOL ). The other reason I wanted to go to the forest preserve is because it was hot that day and I needed some shade. So as I approached the forest preserve I put on my left turn signal and waited for traffic coming southbound to clear. After

Maybe not myself because I had a self confidence problem, but everywhere you went there was someone taking pictures. In grammar school we took pictures every week. In high school we took them every year. At church we took pictures. In the club we took pictures as a group to show we all went to a party. Most of the pictures we took were with a Polaroid camera which had great quality then. But if you wanted the best pictures you wanted the photographer to take your pictures. This was one of the coolest professions back then because all the ladies who wanted to be models or actresses had to go to the photographer to get that photo to take to the different agencies to show how they look. Good morning and Happy Friday. The summer is now beginning and the weather is now reaching its highest temperatures. It has reached a high point of 90's so far in the Chicagoland area and it appears to be nothing in sight to relieve us of these conditions that are almost drought like. As the summer gets ready to start in earnest next week we anticipate the warmest temps of the year after a winter that saw a little snow but the hawk, ( that's what we call the wind in the CHI ) was in full effect. But the sun has been out daily and we need a little moisture in our lives. We expect things to get wet in order for us to not only cool off but to wash away some things and bring a freshness of new things in our lives. The hotness of the weather coincides with the hotness in our lives. We need things to cool off a little bit but need some things to come down so we can enjoy the things in our lives that is promised to us as Christians. We are faithful and trusting in his Word.
