We Only Just Begun

Good morning and Happy Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As enter the last full week of Gratitude in September based on 1st Samuel 7:9-12 I look back at some things to look forward. When I worked at automobile factory there were many parts to put on the car before it became a finished product. The first process was the body area as the car was welded by people but they were eventually replaced by robots. The vehicle then went to the paint area where it was painted by robots except the area around the windshield which then had to done an assembly worker. The vehicle then went to the trim department where everything from the rubber piece that goes around doors to the smallest push screw goes in. This all done by assembly workers as they have to get in and out of the cars hourly. The final process is the chassis department which has everything from the brake lines to the actually brakes to the tires to the engine. Once finished it goes to prewash and then finally out the door to be shipped several different place. Even then the vehicle is not done. It still has been sold which is one purpose it was built and it still not has been driven by the consumer which is the other purpose it was driven for. So no matter where we are in our walk with God each day is if We Only Just Begun.

Daily we come in contact with non believers, haters and doubts in ourselves as we are confronted with sin each day. The enemy is present always and ready to trap us so we can become his pawns ( Job 1:7, 2:2 and
2nd Corinthians 2:11) and advance his agenda. So we need to prepare each day as if we only just begun. Life is a marathon. It has its up and downs and its comings and goings. In this month were I am thankful just because we also need to know how we can impact the world in the areas of the arts, entertainment, business, government, media, family and religion. These are areas that are part of the daily lives of each and every person who reads my blogs whether if you are in the United States of America or overseas. We can make a difference and I look with excitement as we as a movement of God changes the way the world view Christianity. We have only just begun. I want to look at three examples of only just beginning in the Bible.

In Genesis 30:24 we see the first mention of a great man in the Word that being Joseph. The next mention of Joseph comes in  Genesis 37:2. Now Joseph was well loved by his father Jacob but was disliked by his

his brothers. We can see where he has problems with his family as he loved by his Father more than anything ( Exodus 37:1-4 ).  We see it where it goes against tradition and religious beliefs as he is younger than his brothers and being over them is unheard to the point that even his Father Jacob gets angry with him ( Exodus 37:5-11 ) because if anyone knows about birthrights of the oldest son it would be Jacob ( Genesis 25:29-34 ). How many times have our thought process been delayed by not only our family members but also other Christian members because of tradition and beliefs. I often say we must not let our dreams turn into dust. You can look at Joseph being put inside a pit left to die along with his dreams because of tradition religious beliefs. He could have given up after being sold into slavery. He strives on because of his belief in God. Already a finished product as he cast into the pit he goes through a process, working for Potiphar, ( Exodus 39 ), went to jail and saved a life ( Exodus 40 ), to becoming second in command ( Exodus chapters 41, 42, and 43 ) and then having his dreams coming true ( Exodus Chapters 44, 45 and 46 ). Never give up on your dreams We have only just begun.

In my next example I look at the Book of Daniel. In doing a study on Daniel I see where he was part of the inner circle of the royal family before the people of Israel where exiled to Babylon. We see in Daniel 1:6 the
being mentioned along wit Hanania, Mishael and Azariah. Even though Daniel had been a firm believer in God his journey had only just begun. He had to convince the guard to not change his diet, ( Daniel 1:8-16 ), he had to save others live as well as his by being an interpreter of dreams ( Daniel 2nd Chapter ) and he had to show the people in power he served a true and mighty God  ( Daniel 6th Chapter ). Many times the social media and arts and entertainment aspects of our lives is wasted away because we have been told to either be quiet, accept what is status quo or just never try. There are so many of us who are dreamers but we let society take away or stifle our dreams. But in the lion den of our minds there is someone who will protect us from those who would want to do harm. Daniel praised the Lord so hard he made a king start worshipping his God. If we make advances in the social media are and the arts and entertainment area we can advance the kingdom of God.

In my last example of we have only just begun we look at one of my favorite men of the Bible Paul.In Acts 7:58 we see the first mention of Saul. In Acts 8:1-3 Saul through the aid of the high priest of was wrecking
havoc all over the place. In the grand scheme of things though it allowed Christianity to expand further as Christians fled from him and I am quite sure others like him. But one day on a road to Damascus Saul had was to begin his true calling ( Acts 9th Chapter ). After being saved Paul then made differences in the world to educate people about Christ ( Acts 14:8-18 ). He was able to maintain his business as a tent maker as a follower of Christ ( Acts 18:1-3 ). Paul also challenged the government about the how Christ rose from the dead and came back from the dead so we all could have a chance to go to heaven but life well here on earth ( Acts 25th and 26th chapters ). We as Christians today can not be afraid to educate everyone about Christ. We cannot be afraid to have Christ in our businesses. We have to let the governments know that God is not just for us but for all who believe in him. The more we do this the more we see people like Saul come into the fold and become great leaders like Paul.

In closing we must be more like Joseph, Daniel and Paul. We must dream big in the area of Religion by starting to network among other churches to become a bigger voice. We must spend time with our entire family talking and showing the great things that Goddone has for us. Go to family themed events. Have Bible study along with a family cookout. Then you have a forum to introduce God to others. We can start a social media websites, Internet shows and blogs to let others know the goodness of God. We can do plays, write poetry or do a television show dealing with Christian issues in the arts and entertainment world. We must be present in the world of education as Christians to see what our children are being taught and to stay on top of what are children are doing. Too many times teenage pregnancy starts during the hours in school where the children meet. Plan activities with your children and be aware what is happening after school. We must start faith based businesses to help change the belief that being a Christian based business will not be successful. It can be and will be. Look at at Chick-A -Fil. Lastly I urge you again to write you leaders in government. I have people as far as Russia reading my blogs so I urge all of my readers to not be afraid to get the government involved in Christianity. We can change the world. We can see the change. We can hear the change. We can feel the change. To God be the glory. I am a writer of the geekchicmag.com. I am on twitter @brandnewweek. I am on Facebook as Frederick Wesley encouraging daily plus a Black historical posting on Saturday showing not only the Blacks that were part of that but other races and creeds as well. I am doing a blog talk radio show called Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The shows are archived so you can place a voice to my words. Join me for my next blog called How Long Will They Mourn Me. Have a great week.
