Good morning and Happy Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we end the month of March In based on Joshua 3:7-10 and Mark 11:7-10 I remember when I stayed in Riverdale and lived with Tonia P. In the same building that we stayed in ( as a matter of fact right across the hall ) lived Tonia's sister. Now Tonia and I had cable services that we had gotten from a reputable cable provider and had all of our televisions hooked up legally. Tonia's sister Vanessa and her husband had their cable hooked up with a illegal connection. One day a man posing as a cable representative rung Vanessa's doorbell and told her and her husband he would turn off the connection unless they gave him $90.00 cash right away. They paid the man and he tried to tell me and Tonia P. the same thing. I told him to push on and get out of my face because I know we had a legal connection. A lot of people of faith are being fooled by the enemy as we know that if we are connected to God that we can March In the Spirit.
The man posing as a cable representative knew when to come and try to trick folks out of their money. He would come when the cable office was closed so those who not legally connected would be afraid and
do almost anything to keep the connection. We as people of faith have a great connection to God because the Holy Spirit was placed here so that we could have that connection to guide us to do what is right. We can March In the Spirit.
As we come into the Word of God for an example of March In the Spirit I begin in Genesis 41:37-41. See Joseph being a prisoner could not have expected that when God had the spirit move through him when he
interpreted the dream of the butler ( Genesis 40 ) would promote him to the second in command of all that Pharaoh owned. When you are connected to God no matter being in captive situations you will one day March in the Spirit.
In looking at another example of March In I go to Daniel 5:13-17. In this passage King Belshazzar is troubled by a dream he has had. There is no one in the kingdom, the politicians, the doctors, the judges or a
friend who can help him.There are times when we as people filled with the spirit of God can help those see and interpret things for people who may not know God as their Savior and be content with the glory and favor from God instead of accolades and favor from man. March In the Spirit.
In the last passage of scripture for this teaching on March In the Spirit I come to 1st Corinthians 2:1-5. In this passage Paul is writing the church of Corinth while in jail. He is telling them about how when taught
about Christ with spirit and determination not with mere words but not to believe those who connections to you are worldly. Most times others are hooked up to God doing things in his name but we can discern when we March In the Spirit.
In closing I at times am nowhere near perfect. This teaching was actually half done last week but my legal connection to God, the Holy Spirit, was interrupted by the illegal activity of the enemy. He can make you believe that his connection is far greater than God when it is truly not the case. In Acts 1:4-8, Jesus lets us know that the Holy Spirit is now with us at all times. We can March In the Spirit in arts and entertainment, business, education, family, government, social media and religion. If you connection is illegal the enemy will play games with you and have you believing anything. If your connection is legal the enemy will still try to do the same but we can fall back on the Holy Spirit. On this particular day she had to go get her hair done and her friend Roxanne' shop. I had done this numerous times in the past so when I was getting ready to leave I told Angela I was going to the forest preserve to sit and wait as she got her hair done. At the forest preserve I would be able to do two things while I was there. I would be able to think of ideas for my blog, my radio show and my daily postings on Facebook. When you attempt to write you sometimes get writer's block and need to get to a different atmosphere ( Hmmm Writer's Block may be a blog soon LOL ). The other reason I wanted to go to the forest preserve is because it was hot that day and I needed some shade. So as I approached the forest preserve I put on my left turn signal and waited for traffic coming southbound to clear. After

Maybe not myself because I had a self confidence problem, but everywhere you went there was someone taking pictures. In grammar school we took pictures every week. In high school we took them every year. At church we took pictures. In the club we took pictures as a group to show we all went to a party. Most of the pictures we took were with a Polaroid camera which had great quality then. But if you wanted the best pictures you wanted the photographer to take your pictures. This was one of the coolest professions back then because all the ladies who wanted to be models or actresses had to go to the photographer to get that photo to take to the different agencies to show how they look. Good morning and Happy Friday. The summer is now beginning and the weather is now reaching its highest temperatures. It has reached a high point of 90's so far in the Chicagoland area and it appears to be nothing in sight to relieve us of these conditions that are almost drought like. As the summer gets ready to start in earnest next week we anticipate the warmest temps of the year after a winter that saw a little snow but the hawk, ( that's what we call the wind in the CHI ) was in full effect. But the sun has been out daily and we need a little moisture in our lives. We expect things to get wet in order for us to not only cool off but to wash away some things and bring a freshness of new things in our lives. The hotness of the weather coincides with the hotness in our lives. We need things to cool off a little bit but need some things to come down so we can enjoy the things in our lives that is promised to us as Christians. We are faithful and trusting in his Word.
