Make Mention of Others in Prayer

Good afternoon and Happy Friday. As we continue in the month of Hear Our Prayers in April based on 2nd Chronicles 6:38-40, Psalms 130:1-6 and Daniel 9:16-19 I was thinking about someone dear in my life today. My Uncle Johnny was a great man. He had a wonderful singing voice. He was man who loved God and knew the Word of God very well. And he was always looked sharp in his clothes. But as I remember him today I think of how he was a praying man. He would pray at devotion at church. He would pray on the way to work. He would pray during the services that we had at Ford Motor at lunch time. When he prayed he always mentioned to "Remember the Jewish people everywhere". I never thought it was strange until I had gotten older. I mean he was praying for a whole race of people that to my knowledge he had nothing to do with. We as the Body of Christ need to be mindful of that and Make Mention of Others In Our Prayers.
As we come into this teaching of Make Mention for Others in Our Prayer we can see where Jesus spoke a parable in Luke 18:9-12 about how the Pharisee prayed for himself and never mentioned any
one else. We as men and women of faith have a duty to pray for others. We have the power of prayer we should be praying for others globally, locally and even for individuals. Make Mention of Others in Prayer.
As I go back in the Word of God for this teaching of Make Mention of Others in Prayer I go to Ephesians 1:15-17. In this passage Paul is encouraging the church of Ephesus  as they continue to
preach about Jesus Christ in a land of doubters.  All over the world there are doubters about Jesus Christ and these people of faith  who know that he  is real need our prayers to stay strong and focused. Make Mention of Others in Prayer.
In looking at the next example of Make Mention of Others in Prayer I go to the Word of God and to 1st Thessalonians 1:2-4. In these verses Paul writes to the church of Thessalonia  to encourage them
as they begin to teach about Christ Jesus and not just about the baptism of John the Baptist. Locally churches are struggling with different ideas and structures and we must continue pray for their strength and faith. Make Mention of Others in Prayer.
As I come to the end of the Biblical portion of this teaching of Make Mention of Others In Prayer I go to Philemon 1:4-6. In these verse Paul is talking to a individual, Philemon, to help begin a healing
between him and Onesimus. We as members of the Body of Christ may have to at times pray for those who we hurt or who may have hurt us. Make Mention of Others In Prayer.
In closing the Body of Christ has a lot of heavy lifting to do. Questions about the existence of Christ are being asked globally and the people who do not have the religious freedom of America live in fear of death and prison and they need for us to pray for them. Locally congregations of the Body of Christ are separate because of little things such as baptism or when communion is taken and prayer is needed in this area. Lastly individuals are still holding grudges against each other when forgiveness by one would mend the situation is another area prayer is needed. Make Mention of Others in Prayer. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching and ask him to bless all those who read this. Please join me next week for a teaching called Prayer Changes Things. And if you have a chance go to Rhema Word 2.0 for a teaching called In Case Of Emergency (Nip It In The Blood). Have a great weekend.
