Marching In Preparation

GA and Marvelous Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. As we continue in the month of March In based on Joshua 3:-7-10 and Mark 11:7-10 earlier this month I was sent on a security detail to watch a conference area in a hotel in downtown Chicago. I thought I was going to be able to sit there in peace and do my homework. Well when I got there to relieve the person who had been there before me I was shocked to find that there were men working on some doors on the conference area that I had to watch. The men were taking the door off the hinges to make sure the doors were exactly level and did not squeak as they opened and closed. I thought this was a bit much but the hotel wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong for the group that was coming for the conference. The hotel was Marching In Preparation. As I get into this teaching of Marching In Preparation I go to my source of definitions and that is Dictionary.com and look up the word preparation. It means as follows; a measure to prepare for something; any
experience considered preparing for the future; and something manufactured. The hotel was taking measures to prepare the guests as we as Christians should. The hotel was getting ready a experience being considered for the future as we Christians should. And the hotel was manufacturing something as we as believers of God should do as well.  In looking in the Word of God for Marching In Preparation I go Mark 1: 1-4. John the Baptist was sent to prepare the way for Jesus. His sole purpose was to make things better for when Jesus came into his ministry.
The hotel continued to take measures that night to make sure they were prepared for the conventioneers by sending a cleaning crew to make sure the area was clean for the guest. They were Marching In Preparation.
In looking at the Word of God again to continue Marching In Preparation and I go Mark 1:5-8. In this passage John went out into the wilderness to begin his experience of something considered for the future. After the cleaning crew
a little later you had men who were beginning to bring the plates and glasses that would be used by those going to the convention. They were Marching In Preparation.
In the looking in the Word of God to find the final example of Marching In Preparation I go to Mark 1:9-11. In this passage Jesus comes to John to be baptized and to receive the Holy Spirit. This was the purpose for John the Baptist. The
hotel then begin to bring the pastries, the yogurts, the bread and the things that the those coming to the convention could have something manufactured especially for them. They were Marching In Preparation.
In closing as the hotel prepared for this convention we as a people of God should be Marching In Preparation. We need to have measures to prepare the areas of business, government, and religion that we are Marching In to change these areas for the kingdom of God. We need to provide an experience that can be considered for the future as we are Marching In  areas such as arts and entertainment and families for the kingdom of God. And we need to manufacture excitement in the areas of social media and education as we Marching In for the kingdom of God. Preparations means you are prepared. A convention goer came down at 5am and was pleased how things looked. The hotel had Marched In Preparation as we a believers of God should do, can do and will do. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching and may God bless all those who may read this and those connected to them as well.

On this particular day she had to go get her hair done and her friend Roxanne' shop. I had done this numerous times in the past so when I was getting ready to leave I told Angela I was going to the forest preserve to sit and wait as she got her hair done. At the forest preserve I would be able to do two things while I was there. I would be able to think of ideas for my blog, my radio show and my daily postings on Facebook. Let The Rain Come Down

Good morning and Happy Friday. The summer is now beginning and the weather is now reaching its highest temperatures. It has reached a high point of 90's so far in the Chicagoland area and it appears to be nothing in sight to relieve us of these conditions that are almost drought like. As the summer gets ready to start in earnest next week we anticipate the warmest temps of the year after a winter that saw a little snow but the hawk, ( that's what we call the wind in the CHI ) was in full effect. But the sun has been out daily and we need a little moisture in our lives. We expect things to get wet in order for us to not only cool off but to wash away some things and bring a freshness of new things in our lives. The hotness of the weather coincides with the hotness in our lives. We need things to cool off a little bit but need some things to come down so we can enjoy the things in our lives that is promised to us as Christians. We are faithful and trusting in his Word. Good morning and Happy Monday. Brand new week. Brand new attitude. The past is the past. The future is unlimited. Growing up we used to love to take pictures. Maybe not myself because I had a self confidence problem, but everywhere you went there was someone taking pictures. In grammar school we took pictures every week. In high school we took them every year. At church we took pictures. In the club we took pictures as a group to show we all went to a party. Most of the pictures we took were with a Polaroid camera which had great quality then. But if you wanted the best pictures you wanted the photographer to take your pictures. This was one of the coolest professions back then because all the ladies who wanted to be models or actresses had to go to the photographer to get that photo to take to the different agencies to show how they look.
