Brand new week, Brand new attitude

Good morning and Happy Thursday. As we finish up the month of Notifications in February based On Exodus 7:1-3, 1st Kings 22:19-23 and Luke 10:2-6 there was time when I was younger and the young lady whom I was dating, PW, was at the McDonald's across the street from church we both attended. She was there with one of my sisters, my cousin and the crew who she hung with at church. We were all close and all hung together like a family. PW came back to the church crying saying that some guy at McDonald's disrespected her by calling out of her name and saying how he was going to pimp slap her. I was incensed and immediately headed over there to confront the guy and see what was his problem was. As I got ready to cross the street I noticed all the guys that I hung with headed across the street along with me to see what was his problem. As we come into the last week of Notifications in February based on Exodus 7:1-3, 1st Kings 22:19-23 and Luke 10;2-6 I remember back when I wanted a car so bad. The place I went to go get the car from was Rogers Pontiac on 22nd and Michigan in Chicago Illinois. The day I went I took my girlfriend at the time and my Dad. As my credit was not that great the salesman kept pushing me to buy this one particular car. I did not want the vehicle he was pushing me to buy but I wanted to go home with something and after many hours of haggling over the price and the down payment I drove off the lot with the car. As I got closer to my house I felt heat coming inside the car that did not seem right and lo and behold the car had caught on fire. As we continue in the month of Notifications in February based on Exodus 7:1-3, 1st Kings 22:19-23 and Luke 10:2-6 when the advent of  technology was  first happening I for one was totally against it. I did not want a cell phone and I did not want a computer. Times were going good for me then and there was no need for anything in my life to be disrupted by learning something new. But then something happened that I thought never would. All those around me had moved forward into technology but I was left behind. They could email a person from their devices while I still was using the U.S. Postal Service. They could get a call and stop what they were doing to respond to an emergency or non emergency. I had to wait until I got someplace where I could be reached. God has many assignments that may have to be achieved by using technology. As this is still the month of Notification In February I still branch out each month once to a teaching that has been given to me that is not connected to the theme of the month. This month in looking at the Olympics and all the athletes who are competing to become gold, silver or bronze medalist in their sports there are some things that are not talked about. No matter how you try to regulate or even come up with elaborate testing there is going to be a individual, teams or even a the entire country of athletes who are going to cheat. Those who are cheating are using what they know call performance enhancement drugs ( PED ) to not only make their performance better but to also enhance the potential for bigger payday as medalist do, and to be always remembered. Good afternoon and Happy Thursday. As I came home yesterday I had some issues in my home. The issues did not get resolved as I slept  and  it came to a head this morning. The chaos and confusion trickled down to others that I love and that made me feel as bad as ever. I had not only two papers to write for school but this blog as well. Then as I was coming to work it was snowing and still very cold. It feels as though I am coming down with the flu and I have to still do another shift after I leave this job and continue to do this for the next few days so lack of sleep is going to be a big issue for me. It seems like every thing in the world is going against me and I do not know why. But as I am at work a group of people who do a mentorship program asked could I come into to where they were meeting and I agreed. As we continue in the month of Notification in February based on Exodus 7:1-3, 1st Kings 22:19-23 and Luke 10:2-6 one of the things that my parents had was a nice house. It was spacious inside with room for everyone to have space. And on the outside we had such a pretty yard in the front and the back, My Mother would plant vegetables such as tomatoes and greens and she also had flowers that she placed in the front and back of the yard. These flowers would draw all kinds of insects including one we all we wary of which was bees. We knew that a bee sting would hurt and would get out the way. One thing I did notice that when a bee would see a hornet it would immediately leave the area because bees are nothing compared to hornets,. As we continue in the month of Notifications in February based on Exodus 7:1-3, 1st Kings 22:19-23, and Luke 10:2-6 it still is also the Year of Healing based on Jeremiah 33:6-9 Matthew 9:6-8 and Acts 28:7-9 I want to begin by saying I love my grandmother Mrs. Lilla Mae Birdsong. About a year or so she was having pain in her body that caused her a lot of misery. The doctors could not exactly find the source of her pain so they prescribed some medicine for her. All of my life my grandmother was always talkative and aware of her surroundings. Even in her advanced age she worked and was still able to drive herself around. Then just like that she could not remember some things and could hardly even dress herself. Our family was devastated as it seemed like we were on the verge of losing the matriarch of our family. As we come out of the month of Move in January based on Genesis 12:1-3, Ezekiel 37:10-13 and Matthew 26:52-54 we should all be in a different place in our lives. There is a process when you have moved some place else. Whether it is to a home, a church or a change of status this process has to happen. An example is when the building I worked for changed the security company that they were using. Most times when they do changes like this the staff stays the same but there is no guarantee. They could come and change personnel ( they did ). They could come in and change schedules ( they did ). And they could come in and change the rate of pay ( they did ). Even with all these changes I was not comfortable that I had a job until I had applied with the newer company and was notified that I had my position.
